Who We Are
Capital Alpacas is located on a five acre estate "Whispers" in Northern Virgina.
Robert and I have been raising alpacas since 1999. We selected our foundation females for beauty, conformation, and fleece luster. We selected breeding partners to enhance these features.

At this time we have a solid breeding program that consistently produces beautiful white suri alpacas with sound conformation and exceptionally lustrous fleece. (To me there is no better feeling garment than those that have the cool hand of suri alpaca fleece.)

Capital Alpacas is home to "Suri Alpaca Designs". Suri Alpaca Designs offers heirloom quality garments made from 100% suri alpaca fleece. If you purchase one of our garments we guarantee your satisfaction. We want you to wear your alpaca garment, not keep it in a drawer.

We also offer our alpaca fleece for spinning, and alpaca yarn for knitting, crocheting, and weaving.

Capital Alpacas, LLC is a member in good standing with the Better Business Bureau of the Greater Washington Area. We adhere to the principals and standards of the BBB.
