An Elder's Understanding

In understanding the matters of importance to PCUSA Presbyterians and Patriots who love the United States of America "as founded" and not as presently "socially engineered" by the courts, I have undertaken to submit the following summation of my learning over 31 years as a member.

That all and any human governments are prone to wicked tyranny and are not to be trusted as a providential substitute for God.

That the wise and educated Presbyterians who participated in the founding of the nation expected all power to emanate from a "virtuous and law abiding population" which derives its rights power and authority from God; thefostering and generational preservation of which "virtuous and law abiding population" is implicit in the actual mission of the church.

That the church has gone astray predominantly at the top of its man devised organization, in giving up on the providence of God, giving up teaching His exact words and abandoning trust in God's everlasting promises.

That instead, the General Assembly and its Political Office, The WO is looking upon the devices of men to perfect a society that has increasingly lost its virtue and direction by the dereliction of duty of the church itself.

That the "god" of the PCUSA is becoming the god of human rule. An example of such idolatry can be discovered in the history of Egypt and other Biblical and modern day kingdoms where the rule of an individual man was considered "good" by definition until finally in tyrannical madness the ruler declares himself "god" and immortal.

That among the worst of the devices being fostered by the church and adhered to in a manner very similar to the Biblical concept of "idolatry" is dictatorial socialism which naturally evolves into a dictatorial state religion of secular heritage.

That the National Church in some quarters intends and in other quarters ignorantly yields in assistance to the evolution of the PCUSA into a church that is little more than a cooperative arm of a government that seeks to socially engineer the population into a complacent one class (but in actuality a two class) society of the type that so recently failed in the Soviet Union.

That to accomplish these ends, disarmament of the population must be achieved prior to the suspension of "God given" Constitutional individual rights in favor of the rights and behavior norms permitted from and by a supreme state.

That the reason for this disarmament is the fact that no free armed population can be so cowed as to submit to being controlled by a tyrant without unacceptable bloodshed and interminable conflict (think about Afghanistan and Vietnam) unless first unilaterally disarmed or at least "pacified" by way of an evil and perverse sophistic religious influence.

That this is being slowly done in a mad movement toward a new "American Socialism" ideal, fostered by an anti American academe, which will produce a type of government that much of today's world is trying to abandon as a "failed system". The shift is supposedly supported by the tissue thin reason that the only cause of it being a "failed system" is that the "right" people haven't been in charge yet. This is political and religious elitism in action.

That as U.S. Citizens and Christian persons, there is an implied obligation to learn to deal with distortions of the truth, the trickery, sophistry and double dealing that is often designed to deprive us of far more that just today's privileges or today's contents of our wallet. It is intended that we be "spun" around to the point that we will consider our greatest assets (True Christian Doctrine and our U.S. Constitution) as relatively worthless and or trade these assets belonging to us and more importantly our children for some false concept of an overarching "social good" or temporal feeling of protection. (Esau's problem exactly)

That to accept the devices, methods (reference the obscene pro gun control Sunday School Poster issued by the WO last year and displayed in many churches to influence the children) and general message of the PCUSA on the matter of personal ownership of firearms, as PCUSA Presbyterian church members, elders and teachers, without vigorous objection both within the church and in the secular political arena is neither moral nor patriotic.

That individual Church Sessions and Regional Presbyteries have not heard a proper and noisy response from Presbyterians in the pews when incrementally, over several decades, the PCUSA began to align with those who would disarm the population.

That with the advent in 1993 of the administration in Washington, D. C., now departing, the PCUSA under color of "Peacemaking" and "Social Witness Policy" undertook to increase its support activities in several areas of worldly decadence that it cloaked as "Expressions of Christian love", without appropriate outcry from the membership.

That fairly recently (since the 60's), groups of sincere Presbyterians have split from the church to form other churches in response to various kinds of incremental secular compromise by the PCUSA leadership and others have stayed on to fight this slow loss of spiritual integrity.

That for a long period, resistance has been low key and ineffectual in correcting the direction of movement and may have only slowed it somewhat but the indications now are strong that it is time to become effectual and demonstrative of the Truth or be considered as aiding and abetting the error.

That PCUSA Presbyterian persons wondering "What is Truth" are part of the problem and need to attend to their prayers, reading and studies to "put on the whole armor".

That each PCUSA Presbyterian, gun owners especially, to the degree possible, in addition to whatever work he or she may do for and within the church, also owes to our great nation not just to vote in elections but also to actively foster the placement and retention of those in government office who will follow the Presbyterian example of many of our forefathers and preserve and protect individual "God given" human rights under the United States Constitution.

That our great Constitution is the best bulwark to date against tyranny and, in history, a real benefactor of the true Christian Religion.

That in the face of this threatening enemy, both in the church and the state, we will each rededicate ourselves quickly to the one true God, honoring the Father, remaining open to the Holy Spirit, trusting in the atonement of Jesus Christ and obeying His admonitions with new energy; thereby renewing the blessings of God to ourselves and our children and our great nation that was founded under God by ordinary men of rare wisdom.

This is most certainly our only true and reliable hope.
