Peninsula Bible Study

Thank God for His blessing during the past year. He prepared brother Hou and brother Lam to lead us for the bible study. The number of attendants has increased and everyone participated achieved significant improvement in the knowledge of the bible and also in terms of spiritual growth. We have learned to follow the example of Jesus Christ to love one another to care for others and to behave appropriately.

During February due to the growth in the bible study group, serveral people living in Hampton area were re-grouped to the Hampton Bible Study class led by brother Hou, meeting at professor Leung's house. Brother Lam took the responsibility to lead the Peninsula bible study.

We meet on second and fourth Friday at 8 p.m. every month. Since February we have been studing "Luke", "Matthew", "Mark" and "John", to better understand the new testament. Every time, we sing hymns before bible study and have some time for sharing after the bible study. At the end, there is also tea time and discussion of various topics.

Last year, there were a lot of relocations among the participants. We joyfully welcome brother Peter Chen, brother Chin, sister Tang Yen, and sister Chen Yan Ning's family. We also bid farewell to Duan Wei and Gang's family. After their relocation, they keep on calling back and inviting us to go and visit them. They are asking about the situation of the bible study group.
