Just thought I would let you know that I may have a home for Wrigley. There is a lady that grooms Spencer, and she know a person in Boone, that has a Sheba Inu, and she believs that the other will be interested in Wrigley, especially since I got the information about the state of his (or lack of) manliness. I am a very proud owner of a long-haired mini dachshund. WE have lived with dachshunds all our lives. But we had a history of smooths this is my first red. HI, Enjoyed your website. Lots of good information. I raise mini dachshunds and am interested in how to start training for earthdog/field trials. I wasn't able to get to the Prentiss, MS trials this past weekend but would love to have gone. thanks, paula rintoul

Just a comment, I just rescued a dachshund from someone who couldn't keep him any more and was going to take him to a shelter. I didnt know how my border collie would take to him, but they seem to be getting along. What kind of family dogs are they? I have a 2 year old, and he seems to like him.

  mattie wants to be the first to wish you all a happy holliday season... mattie is doing well and fits in to our relaxed lifestyle.. she is getting so grey around the muzzle and forehead, but dont let the grey hair fool you. she still gives the squirrels a run for their money.. and she is jealous of the grandchildren ha ha it's so cute.....dan and pat
