This was my first car.
I paid $300.00 for it when I was 15 and was able to drive it home.

MY CAR:
My dad and I started our long and involved search for parts. One of the funniest moments
happened at a local junk yard. We walked into the main building and started talking to the
owner (we were already regulars). We asked about Nova/Ventura parts, and he looked us
straight in the eyes and said, "There's a rough one up on blocks that looks like it is
being parted out or scrapped." He was talking about mine.
UPDATE: August 12, 2004
The car is back at my place, so I can work on it more.
The front end is installed along with the engine and power brakes.
I have received the parts I need to repair/rebuild the column.
The interior is out and being cleaned.
I have found a source for patch panels to fix the rust around the driver's side quarter panel.
Still waiting to get it up on jack-stands to measure for the drive shaft.
A drive shaft and tires is about all it needs to be drivable.
Center Console received, but, sadly I can't use it unless I convert to Buckets.
Power Steering not installed yet -- may wait on that.
I am going to keep the column shift -- easier to get it on the road.
