Happy Friday! Sorry for the week-long absence. A bunch of people from my office were gone this week for Comdex, which required me to multi-task this week. By the time I got home, I was too tired to do anything. I even missed Dawson's Creek on Wednesday. *bummer* =( I heard someone left the show. Who?..who?!

After work last night, I decided to hit up Valley Fair, and finish off my Christmas shopping. I walked around for a couple of hours, going into practically every store, but I couldn't find a single thing. What a waste of time! I stopped by the big shoe sale at Macy's before leaving. I've been eyeing this pair of Nine West knee-high boots. I already have a pair of boots, but they're the stretchy material kind...the kind you pull up like a sock. And after a while, they stretch out and you gotta pull them up every so often. *pain in the ass*

Anyhow, the sales girl brings me the boots. I tried one on, and walked over to the mirror. Eh, they're alright. So as I'm walking back to my chair, I see this lady pick up my shoe and start to walk off with it. I call out, "excuse me..", but she doesn't hear me. She's picking up the pace (on a mission to find a sales person), with me in hot pursuit. Imagine me chasing her with a slight limp from the height difference of the boot and my regular shoe. It was very awkward. I call out again...everyone around us looks up, but she still doesn't hear me. Finally, I catch up to her: "Excuse me, but that's my shoe."
She looks embarassed and hands me my shoe: "Oh I'm sorry".
Peg: "No problem"
Lady: "It's a nice shoe".
Peg: "Thanks".
Next time I'll be sure not to leave my shoes unattended.

NEAT! I was on http://www.littleyellowdifferent.com/ and http://slinkstar.diaryland.com/index.html and they both have Amazon wishlists. It's kind of a cool idea, because your friends can get something they know you need, like, or want. I just don't know if I have the balls to do a wishlist. I know I shouldn't feel guilty for listing my little whims and desires, but when it comes to gifts, I was raised to look at my mom first for approval, if she nods "okay", then I can accept it. And if I accept it, I have to be eternally grateful. Of course, I'm all growns up now...hehehe...but I'm still grateful for any and every gift I get. Just the thought that someone took the time to pick something out for me is such a heartflet gesture. Even Evain, who for two years in a row, got me some scary ass shit for Christmas....I appreciate that she even thinks of me. She cracks me up, she's so practical that she stocks up on bargain-bin items from Barnes & Nobles and gives them out as gifts. Last year I got a Voo-doo doll from her, and the year before that, I got this picture book on that freaky TV show, "Millenium" (with Lance Henriksen). The pictures are full of blood and gore. Very disturbing.

Anyway... I want to say HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to Aaron!
We'll be taking him out tomorrow night and getting him nice and drunk. hehehe

Have a nice weekend! Gawd, I can't believe Thanksgiving's less than a week away! *yikes*

YAY! It's finally Friday. This week was a killer. I'm so glad it's over. Next week, most of my office will be gone in Vegas for Comdex. So that'll allow me to catch up on some stuff that's been piling up. But...enough about work.

This weekend I'm going to start on my Christmas shopping. Every year, John and I set aside a day to do some shopping together. Last year we waited till the very last minute, so this year we said that we'll start early. John's one of my favorite shopping partners...he's fun, he's patient, he'll give me his honest opinion, he'll help carry my stuff when I buy too much (hehehe), and he'll lie for me too! Last year, I spent a long ass time inside MAC picking out makeup brushes for Wil. The sales lady was ready to kill me for my indecisivness. Finally I decided on some brushes, and she carefully wrapped them for me, and we were on our way. Then we stumbled upon Sephora, and they had makeup brushes galore, and at half the price!!! I was so torn. I knew if I returned the brushes at MAC, I'd have to endure the sales lady's evil death stare and some other snobbery. So John took them back for me, lied, and said that we bumped into my sister and she already purchased the same exact brushes. hehehe Isn't he the best?! =D We're going to catch a flick this weekend, too...and I think Wil, Ivy, and Cin might join us.

On Sunday, my sister's sister-in-law's son is turning ONE! I can't believe how time flies. All our babies are growing up. *sniff* So that's my weekend forecast.

Here are the long awaited pictures from my boat ride last weekend:

Wey, our skipper.

Hope ya'll have a great one!

Yesterday was a crappy day. I had a fever all day, but refused to leave work. I'm trying to save my PTOs for something better. hehehe I had put my head down on my desk for a quick nap, but that didn't help. After work, I went to cast my vote, then went home, crawled into bed around 7:30pm, and slept until this morning. I'm feeling all better now. Nothing exciting to write about so I'll share an email that went back and forth between Aric and Bett. Wey and I were on the list, but obviously we actually "work" at work. hehehehe:

Peg: GOOD Lawd, I'm tired today! *yawn* Thanks you guys for a great weekend! We really did a lot this weekend, and it was fun. Wey, Thanks for taking care of Bett for me, and for driving us all around. We owe you one. Bett, Thanks for joining me on this trip. We have to do it again! Aric, Thank you, honey, for everything! You're the sweetest! I love you!...okay, I don't want to make our friends ill, so I'll stop. hehehehe

Aric: Well, don't forget, it wouldn't have been fun for me or Wey if it wasnt for you guys.. two guys going out on a boat isn't exactly an ideal situation for us heterosexuals..unless there's fishing involved.. thanks for coming down, Bett.. none of my friends would have gone out unless they knew you were coming.. so thanks again. Peg, I don't want to make anyone sick either.. 1433!

Bett: dudes..my arms are soo friggin' sore! eeegats! i'm getting old!

Peg: Yup! My arms are hella sore too! =P Oh, and I found more bruises from that harness-thing. =/

Aric: Yeah.. I found some bruises and bite marks on my body.. but I dunno what they're from.. hmm..

Bett: ewww....you're making your friends sick....... =P gag...

Aric: What? I meant like bug bites.. and I'd bite my arm instead of itching it with my finger nails because biting doesnt dry the skin out.. I got the bruises from hitting my leg when getting into the car.. what did you think I was talking about, Bett?? please elaborate..

Bett: ok..now you are contradicting yourself..in your original email...defense exhibit A.. you said that you didn't know hwere they were from...so obviously, I would be under the impression that you really don't know where they are from.......EXHIBIT A "Yeah.. I found some bruises and bite marks on my body.. but I dunno what they're from.. hmm.." Now you are saying that they are from hitting your leg on your car...which is it? Do you know or don't you know, Mr. Shen. Please clarify so that we may know exactly what you mean....

Aric: I was referring to (a)the bug bites, because I don't know what kind of bug they're from.. and (b)after I wrote that email, I remembered where the bruises were from..now do you know exactly what I mean ? and you evaded my question..counsel will re-direct the question.. what did you think I meant when I said I had bruises and bite marks ? why would that make you sick ?

Bett: eluding to unusual sexual practices is what made me sick. Your vagueness and your lack of succinct information as to what you are referring to tends to mislead the jury. Such vague comments are rendered ineffectual because people have no idea as to what you are talking about..and imaginations tend to run wild. Thus questioning is then put in place by sapient observers who are in search of only the truth....

Aric: Actually, the reason for my vague statements was to illicit comments from the defense. Now that the witness has given testimony that, in her professional opinion, she belived that I was eluding to "unusual sexual practices", we, the prosecution, can clearly deduce that the witness is of ill-mind. It is my recommendation that the defense remove their mind from the gutter. Furthermore, it is my person suggestion that if the defense is in search of the truth, she contact Agent Mulder, as he's the leading expert in that field.

Bett: in response to the statement made by the prosecution..i would like to suggest to the court to send him to some ESL classes..."it is my person suggestion that if the defense is in search of the truth,".

Aric: The question of whether or not the prosection should attend ESL classes is of no relevance in this case. I move to strike it from the records. We are here in court today to determine whether or not the defense has an ill-mind.

Bett: the relevance is in the fact that you cannot determine whether or not I am of ill-mind if you cannot understand me fully....in situations where there is a language barrier, this is of significant relevance because you cannot get your point across..thus leading other to believe that you are saying one thing when you are saying another..thus leading to perhaps your failure to make yourself clear ..resulting in you thinking that i am of ill-mind...when in fact, i am not- you were ineffectual in delivering your message...

Aric: Your tactics are transparent. Your attempts to confuse the prosection are futile. I scoff at your ill-minded attempts to confuse the court.

Bett: Transparent? As opposed to opaque? Well, scoffing is not allowed in a court of law...mocking me is not going to make yourself look any better to the jurors, counselor....it only makes you look petty..and in regards to my confusing the court, I do believe the court is more sapient that you would like to think...

Aric: STOP THE LIES! MAKE THE VOICES GO AWAY!

Bett: lay off the drugs then.

Have a nice day!

11/6/00

Happy Monday! *long yawn* I'm pretty tired today! My weekend was really fun and eventful. Friday night, my plane was delayed flying into OC...but it worked out okay because Bett, Wey, and I ended up flying in within an hour of each other. We grabbed a late dinner at Cheesecake Factory at the Spectrum. Bett and I bought some funky pleather pants from The Limbo Lounge. It was half-off and I couldn't resist. =)

Saturday, the guys rented a motorized boat, and we cruised Newport for a couple hours, had a picnic lunch on the boat, and checked out the PHAT houses and yachts along the Harbor. It was a gorgeous day, just kickin it on the water. I'll post pictures in the next couple of days. Afterwards, we walked around Balboa Island. Balboa's the same as I remember it 10 years ago...the ferris wheel, carousel, the ferry, and the smell of popcorn, waffle cones, and cotton candy. Bett and I were most fascinated by this thing called "Rock-N-Bungee". For those who frequent Pier 39 often, you might have seen it. It's like a trampoline/bungee jumping thing. The guy who works the attraction will jump along with you on the tramp, until you're launched way up into the air...at which time you're suppossed to see how many front-flips/back-flips you can do. I can only do two in a row before I lose momentum. Bett kicks ass! She can do three or four in a row. that thing looks easy, but it's pretty tiring. This morning I got an email from Bett saying her arms are sore. Girl, I can barely straighten out my arms. I feel like Barbie, my arm is in a perpetual 90 degree postion. =P

After Balboa Island, we hit up South Coast Plaza for some power-shopping. Mike's girl was visiting from out of town, so a bunch of us decided to go out for dinner and clubbing at Miyagi's. I always seem to bump into someone I know at Miyagi's. This time it was this guy who lived in the apartment above mine in Berkeley! I haven't seen him in ages (6+ years). He nearly made the mistake of calling me by my old roommate's name, *DANGER*DANGER* but caught himself. Smart fella.

Sunday we met the same group for Dim Sum and a movie. We saw "Charlie's Angels". The movie had it's moments of cheesiness, but who cares...Cameron, Drew, and Lucy looked great!!! Each character had a vulnerability that most girls can relate to, but as a trio, they were unstoppable. If you want to see a action-packed, cleavage-baring, entertaining, no-brainer movie...this is a good one!

That's pretty much what I did over the weekend. Now, all I need is some sleep. Big thanks to Aric, Wey, Bett, Ann, Ed, Sue, Dailo, Mike, and Jeff for making my weekend so memorable!

11/2/00

My days have been so crazy lately...from the moment I get to work until the time I get off, I barely have time for a potty break. Then I rush from one job to the next, then home, then shower, then sleep...and so on. *whew* I'm so glad I don't have kids yet. On Tuesday I got off work a little earlier so I could clean bathrooms (yes, I'm still doing that...*yuck*) at Sis's office, then I rushed home in time to take Chris, Amanda, and their friend's trick-o-treating. A lot of houses in the neighborhood didn't pass out candy. I assume it's because they were stuck in Bay Area traffic and couldn't make it home in time. The kids still managed to get a lot of loot anyway. One house in particular was extra generous. They handed out a full sized Snickers to every kid! WOW! Oh, and another house handed out leftover moon cakes. =P

I wore my costume, and it kept me nice and toasty. =) When the parents of my niece's friends came to pick them up, they asked, "so, who's the Aunt?" I guess just by appearance, I looked like one of the kids. hehehehe I stuck out my paw and introduced myself. They thought I was a high schooler. HAHAHAHA

Below are some picture from last weekend. Saturday, we celebrated Oli's birthday at Firenze Ristorante in North Beach.

Out of 20+ people, Bett and I were the only ones to show up in costume. Everyone was hesitant about whether or not anyone else would dress up, so they decided to play it safe. Obviously, Bett and I have no shame. Heh, when do we ever??? =) We all went to a Halloween Party at AsiaSF afterward. It was pretty fun!

The Girls

The birthday boy and his sweetheart.

Oli, Wil, Tony, and I

At the beginning of Oli's dinner, everyone came up and wanted to take a picture with me. I felt like one of those characters who worked at Disneyland. =)
To see more pictures from Oli's birthday, check 'em out on Anthony's site (thanks, dude): http://www.shek.net/oliver/index.html

I'm so glad this week is almost over. Hopefully it won't be so crazy next week, and I can resume my usual 'sporadic' journal updates. hehehe I'm going down South this weekend, and Bett's joining me! YAY! Aric and Wey are taking us sailing! =D

Have a great weekend! Oh, I almost forgot...check out Aric's "new & improved" webpage: http://members.home.net/aric2/
Homeboy started a journal too! =D

10/27/00

Happy Friday! Boy, it's been a crazy week! Really glad it's not storming today. It was coming down hard yesterday! The streets near my work were completely flooded. A bunch of us had planned to go check out the Phantom Train Express at Vasona Park, in Los Gatos. Rain or not, Wil & I had promised Chris, Amanda, and Marisa that we would take them, and they were really looking forward to it. *whew* Lucky us, because by 7pm, it mellowed to a light sprinkling.

Happy Birthday to BriFlys & Oli! Big hugs to both of you! =)

This weekend is Halloween weekend, so all of you beware of ghosts, goblins, and witches! We're celebrating Oli's birthday on Saturday, and we might check out one of the many costume parties going on in the City. Last year, Aric and I went to a party as Fred and Wilma Flintstone. This year, I'm keeping my costume a big secret. *hee hee*
Which is actually NO secret at all for those who know me well. But I'll take some pitures this weekend, and maybe you guys will get a sneak peak before the 31st. =)

Chris & Amanda asked if I would take them, and their friends, trick-o-treating next week! It means so much to me coming from 13 year olds...it means, they consider me "cool". Awwww, yeah!...I'm the "cool" aunt! Let's see if they still feel that way after they see me in my costume. *wink* Seriously though, it's nice to know that my nieces think I'm cool. They like to borrow my CDs, wearing my clothes, and hanging out with me. So what does that mean really?...that I haven't grown up yet? It doesn't matter, I'll enjoy it while it lasts. I just dread the day they make me park a block away from the mall so they can get out first. =P

Wishing everyone a "boo"-tiful weekend! Stay safe, and don't drink and drive!

10/23/00

I had a great weekend. Aric came up to visit, and my parents finally returned from another long trip to Taiwan & Thailand. My mom couldn't stop raving about how beautiful (and cheap) Thailand was. She kept saying, "you guys should plan a trip to Thailand...it's worth it!"
It's true, for the same price we paid for our Cancun trip, we could have spent a week in Thailand...meals and lodging at a five star hotel included. But I recently saw "Brokedown Palace", and I can't help but feel nervous about places like Thailand or China. *sigh* I'm just being paranoid.

Friday night Aric and I spent a quiet evening watching DVDs. On Saturday, we packed a picnic lunch and went to the lake.

This fella walked right up to our bench while we were eating. He was inches from our legs and was completely fearless. Persistence pays off, because we couldn't help but slip him a little morsel. I don't know if birds have a signal they give to indicate "free food", but all of a sudden, our bench was mobbed by feathery friends. There must have been at least 40 ducks/geese quacking at us.

I don't know where these two 'turkeys' came from, but they scared me. They were huge, and they just stood behind me. We tried to get them to come around to the front of the bench with all the other ducks, but they just stood there...making it hard to keep an eye on them and the rest of the mob. As silly as it sounds, I get panicky when there's a mass. One or two ants...no problem. A whole trail of them...no way. The mob was growing by the minute. We were rescued by this little boy who was running by (with a stick he found while playing) and he scared them all a way.

We picked up my parents on Saturday afternoon. We took my dad out for a belated birthday celebration at Orlo's inside the Hayes Mansion that night.

Sunday we spent a lazy day with Wil, Tony, Cin, and Matty!
Is it me or do weekends never seem long enough?

Have a nice day!

Sometimes people write to ask if I ever get nervous about posting pictures of myself (and my friends) up, and for divulging personal information about my life. I know their concern was in regards to protecting myself from weirdos and stalkers. But I have yet to encounter one...until this morning:

From: lapdhk <lapdhk@sinaman.com>
Subject: hi, peg

Hi gal, I bought a new instant cam and took a photo of my penis
Do you interest, reply to me.

Raymond Wong
^_^!

WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! I'm just curious...from looking at my picture, do I possess a "hey dude, whip it out and let me see" gleem in my eye? I mean, that is so random!
My response was:

"What makes you think I want to see your penis ? Actually, a better question would be, what makes you think I COULD see your penis. I do not have a bionic eye or an electron microscope, you fuckin' pervert!"

*sigh* There are a lot of them out there. Wil once came home from the mall all flustered. While she was waiting for Tony outside the mall, some guy cruised up to her for directions. He had a map across his lap and steering wheel, so when she approached his window to give him directions, he lifted up the map and FLASHED her. He was whacking off under the map, and obviously wanted to share it with someone.

The funny thing was, Wil was really embarrassed and mortified, while the guy just smiled and drove off. Sick people, I tell ya! This morning's email doesn't discourage me from keeping pictures up and talking about my every day events. I think the majority of my readers are you guys...my friends. Besides, should I get anymore weirdos, it'll only spice up the journals. =)

Have a nice day!

HELP!...I think I have eczema! My turtleneck has been causing me scratch my neck all day...and now I have a patch of concentrated little raised dots on my neck. =( I tried putting lotion on it, but I think I irritated it more. I know that eczema is a common form of skin rash, but as a kid, I was traumatized by my 5th grade classmate, Jeff Navarro. He had the worst case of eczema I've ever seen! It covered his face, causing the skin around his eyes and mouth to look very puffy and wrinkled. He had white patches all over his otherwise brown skin. The back of his neck looked like the skin of an elephant...dry and flaky. He used to sit in class and scratch all day, often requesting to go to the nurses office because something would ooze or bleed. I asked him one time how his skin got like that, and he said that it started out small, but then it spread. It was pretty sad because in the 5th grade, kids would make fun of him and avoid him like the plague. Anyway, I tried to put some spit on it.....okay, don't look at me like that. I always put spit on mosquito bites, zits, and stuff. The enzymes in your saliva neutralizes the itch or inflammation.
No, I'm not a doctor and that's not a proven fact. It's just something my parents had said since I was little, and it works. There's also a saying that the saliva of your mate helps to heal faster. Hmmmmm... *raise one eyebrow* Hey, Aric...come lick my neck! hehehe OH YEAH!

Speaking of cruel 5th graders, Aric and I had this conversation the other week about getting teased at school. While other kids would have baloney sandwiches or Peanut Butter & Jelly, my mom would pack me a "fuzzy" pork sandwich (Pork Sung) or fried egg sandwiches. I would get a vita-soy instead of a CapriSun, and haw-flakes instead of a fruit roll-up. But that was then. It's a whole new skool nowadays. I think it's because schools are so much more diversified. If my nieces took sushi for lunch, they would be considered "da bomb". Cool. =)

Sorry for the lack of updated. The past few days have been busy. Wey was in town on Monday for business, so Bett and I met up with him and his coworkers for drinks. Last night we had Girl's Nite in Union City. And for people who have been inquiring already, Ivy, Cin, Wil, Bett, and I finally planned out our annual girlfriend-Christmas party. *rubbing hands vigorously* This one's gonna be gooooood! =D

My weekend was nice and relaxing. Hung out with Wil and Wing on Friday and rented "Final Destination". I really expected more from this movie. Wing picked this *yawn* pseudo-thriller...need I say more? Devon Sawa looked like he was a paranoid crack-fiend throughout most of the movie. He was so much cuter when he was in "Casper" and "Now and Then". Kerr Smith (Jack from Dawson's Creek)and Seann William Scott (Stifler from American Pie) made this movie bearable.
On Saturday I had lunch and ran errands with Sis & the kids. Met up with everyone at Aaron's place for some good eats and company. Watched some infomercial on some conversion-vans and a boot-leg home video of import drag racers and motorcycle speedsters from Hawaii. I think the cool part about watching that video was seeing Toshi's Skyline and seeing Speedline stickers on some of those cars.

Sunday was chore day. And now you're all caught up. ;)

Have a good day!

Happy Friday the 13th!

Last night I went to my first Hockey Game! Leev told me that the Sharks got spanked the last few times he went, and he was hoping that I would bring some luck. I had boasted that I was a "good luck charm"...and that every game I've gone to, whether it be Warriors or the A's, they've all won. So Leev crossed his fingers and hoped that it was true. ....and, it was. *looking smugly at my nails and polishing them on my collar*

So if anyone wants to change the luck of a losing team, look no further, I'm usually available on Thursday. *wink* Oh, and I have yet to see a real live Football game. Not that I'm hinting or anything. hehehehe SJ Sharks beat the Phoenix Coyotes 2 to 1. Cool! =)

There's something very sexy about guys that play hockey. It must be the speed, skill, and agility on the ice. The way they body slam each other into the boards. It's the exhilarating sense of power and masculine pride. Usually I find sensitivity and intelligence a turn on, but there are times when I just want an ass-kicker! So, who cares if he's missing a couple of teeth?

Thanks Leev, for a great game! I'd be glad to fill in for Hank any time! =) I especially enjoyed all the little traditions, shouts, and claps I learned at the game. My favorite was the hand motion you make during a power-play!

Have a great weekend all!

Oh, and don't forget to check out my new contestant for the dating game- Aaron. He doesn't have a picture just yet, but I'll take one this weekend. For all you single girls, he's pretty dreamy. =)

10/10/00

It rained really hard last night...first real rain this season. I fell asleep to light tapping on my window, and when I woke up this morning, it was still raining. It took me almost two hours to get to work again. *sigh* I think it's time to get out of the Bay Area. =/

How was everyone's weekend? Wil, Tony, Ivy, Oli, Cin, and Matty went to Reno for the weekend. From what I heard, they had a lot of fun horseback riding, bowling, hitting golf balls into the lake, playing games at Circus Circus, and gambling. I had a great weekend as well. On Friday, Aric took me to Las Brisas in Laguna Beach. Las Brisas reminds me of my first night in Cancun. The food was very similar to La Parrilla's - the seafood was very fresh and very tasty! I love dark, candle-lit restaurants. The kind where we hold hands from across the table, gaze at one another, and flirt. hehehe
http://www.lagunabeachinfo.org/ads/lasbrisa.html

We walked along the beach afterward, and took some self-timer shots.

On Saturday, we had lunch with Wey, bought some linens at the Strouds Outlet, and looked at model homes. It's unbelievable that all the homes we looked at costs half as much as it does up here...but then again, the cost of living up here is insane in the membrane. For the price you pay up here, you could be living LARGE in Nevada. *sigh* Oh well.

Saturday night, Aric, Sue, Ed, and I went to Irvine Harvest Festival. It's been ages since I've been to a carnival. We ate carnival food, then we rode one of those upside-down rides called 'The Inverter'. I thought Aric was going to puke. It was great fun! =) Afterwards, we decided to get dessert at the Ritz in Dana Point. Ever since Ed got married, he's been "pushing" marriage on all of us non-married friends. It's like rushing his fraternity or joining his club....it's really funny!

On Sunday, we spent it with Mike and Tri, running errands, and watching TV. My flight home on Sunday night was horrible. This time it wasn't the airline's fault. I got stuck sitting next to this wierd lady. She was eating an oreo McFlurry when I started dozing off shortly before take off...and right before landing, I felt something really cold run down my leg! I woke up and stupid lady dropped her half eaten McFlurry in my lap. I figured my sudden movement would wake her up....nope...she was dead-asleep, chin to her chest, head slightly bobbing, and drool on her shirt. GROSS! Then one of her bags tips over, spilling most of the contents of her purse. Does she wake up?....nope. I bend over to pick up some of her stuff for her, but she still did not stir. I looked at her for a few seconds, and she kind of looks like Mama from "Throw Mama From the Train", but younger. Anyhow, I that was not fun. So that was my exciting weekend.

Congratulations to D-Nak and his new bride on their nuptuals over the weekend! D-Nak, married...whoa!

Have a nice day!

10/5/00

*GASP!* I can't believe it's October already!!! Last year around this time, Aric came up for Siebel Training. He stayed in Emeryville for a week, and we got to hang out every night. On the first night, after sharing a six pack of Mickey's, we were going through some emails (on his laptop) that we've written each other. I read part of an email that he wrote to one of his friends about me. He was mortified and desperately tried to close the screen. I was like, "C'mon, I want to see what you wrote!" And he was like, "C'mon!" All the while we were battling over the laptop, pushing one another.
Well...I won (was there ever a doubt?), and he sat back shaking his head and looking out the window. I've known Aric for years...I'm talking YEARS...and if you know Aric, he's infamous for his writing style, analogies, and witty sense of humor. I couldn't wait to see what kind of sh*t he wrote about me. hehehe Instead, I came to realize why he was being so difficult... he had confided at great length to a friend about his feelings toward me-past, present, and future, and what our friendship means to him, and what the risk is of cranking it up another notch. I was deeply moved...shocked...happy. I looked over at him, poor guy, and I don't think he's ever felt as vulnerable as he felt that night. I remember it so clearly in my mind. We just sat there staring at each other...quiet. AND the rest is history. =D *sigh*...it seemed like yesterday. How time flies.

Of course I'm sure Aric will have amnesia if he reads this and deny the whole thing. His recollection is more along the lines of:
Aric: *head nod* "yo...wanna be my bia-tch?"
Peg: *giggle* "hell yeah!"
Yeah...whatever. Actually, I better stop painting such a bad picture of him. He's not close to being like that, even though we'll joke about.

Well, I caught the season premiere of Dawson's Creek. It was over-hyped. They played scenes from next week's episode during the season premiere trailer, so I was anticipating a lot. There is still so much tension between Joey and Dawson, that I find myself holding my breath at times. Everyone looks good, but I'm not sure if I like Pacey's buzz. Next week's episode should be good. Gawd, I'm such a teeny bopper! hehehe

Sorry for the lack of updates. This week was a busy one. I was also battling some mysterious stomach bug, and that was no fun. =O~ But I'm feeling alright now.

I've been getting a bunch of great emails from people complimenting the site. I would go onto their site, and get completely blown away! These guys are so amazing! They write from the heart with such honestly, conviction, and candidness. It's like an artform...and here I am *doo-de-doo* just babbling whatevers and posting up pictures. I'm embarassed and flattered. Thanks, you guys!

Well off I go!...until tomorrow! =)

Mike's BIG THREE-O is this Sunday! I want to be the first to wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! =)

Wishing you all a GREAT weekend!

9/27/00

I went to my very first baseball game last night!

Craig took me to see the Oakland A's VS the Anaheim Angels as a belated birthday gift. The weather, last night was perfect, too. Not too cold and not too windy. We sat up in the Westside Club and feasted on BBQ beef sandwiches and pasta. Craig tried to explain the rules and stuff to me, but I was often preoccupied people-watching. I love people-watching...I could do it all day. I noticed that people consume a lot of beer at those games. I'm talking A LOT!!! So they'd end up getting up a lot to use the bathroom. Anyhow, I would be busy watching people, that I would sometimes cheer for the wrong team because they switched, and I wouldn't know. It's a good thing that I didn't cheer as loud as usual (due to my lingering cold), otherwise I might have gotten beat down! hehehe

The A's beat the Angel's 10 - 3. Tonight, they're playing the Angel's again. GO A's!!!

I still enjoy watching basketball over anything else (not that I've seen hockey, or football, or soccer, or anything). But basketball is way more exciting! You can totally feel the energy. =)

Craig said that he wants to take me to see wrestling next time. I responded by guffawing and saying..."that's so fake!" He responded by saying "yeah, yeah...we all know it's fake, but it'll be fun." FUN...yep, that's what he is. =)

A GREAT BIG "THANKS" AGAIN!

9/25/00

Sucks, yo! It took me an hour and a half to get to work this morning...mind you, I only work 16 miles away. I wanted so badly to pull over at some 7-11, or a gas station, or a doughnut shop, have breakfast until traffic passed. But these days, that may never happen. Aric helps ease my commute by keeping me company on the cell-phone. Yeah, yeah...I'm one of those people who chat on the phone while driving. It keeps me from going insane. Rest assure that I have both hands on the wheel and my eyes glued to the road....which, says a lot more than other people. Sometimes I see people reading a book or a newspaper while driving! They tend to slow down the traffic more. Because while they're engrossed in their article, they're not "flowing" with the rest of us...thus allowing 5 cars to merge in front, while I'm the pitiful one stuck behind this loser. Wil and Tony saw a road rage incident last Friday where, at a light, some guy got out of his car, proceeded to the car in front of him, and began to pummel the guy to smithereens. A couple of people from adjacent cars got out to break it up. Crazy, huh?

So where did I leave off last week? Oh yeah...Sis's birthday. We had a great time at dinner.

My parents really enjoyed the restaurant, and I think they're a lot more willing to try new places.

I had a very nice relaxing weekend. I spent half of it with my parents, and the other half with friends I haven't seen in a while:

May was in town from Hawaii, so a bunch of us got together for dinner in Palo Alto.

Sarah, Joyce, Stacey, me, and May.

We had a great time sharing what's new with work, love, family, and friends, catching up on old gossip, and reminiscing. I don't know if you can see in the pictures, but Sarah colored the tips of her waist-long hair fiery red! It looks very COOL! =)

On Sunday, Levi came over and helped me hook up my new DVD player. =) We watched (more like skipped around) "Dirty Dancing" and "Erin Brokovich". It was such a kick back day. We grabbed dinner with Wil and Tony, and walked around Ranch 99.

Hoped everyone had a great weekend!

9/21/00

Happy belated Birthday to SIS!!!

I teased her about how turning 37 is the same as turning 40...and boy, did she get sour! HAHAHA I was just messing with her. Seriously though, she looks GREAT! I can only hope to look that good when I reach her age. Tonight the family is taking her out for a nice dinner.

I wonder if it's just my parents??? A couple of nights ago, when we were tossing around ideas about where to go for Sis' dinner, I notice that my parents always suggest the same ol' restaurants. Restaurants that we've been patronizing for years. The thought of trying some place different is unsettling for them. Especially when you suggest any place outside of San Jose. *Gasp!*....heaven forbid! =)

Well, I'm going to keep this short, since I've been mobbed at work & home lately. I'm still feeling a bit under the weather. *ugh* Here are a few pictures from my birthday dinner at La Fondue:

Peg and the guys-Wing, Oli, Aaron, Steve, Tony, Aric, and Matty

Me and my girls-Wil, Bett, Ivy, and Cin

At La Fondue, they have two rules: 1)if a girl drops anything into the dipping pots, she has to kiss the guy to her right. 2) if a guy drops anything into the dipping pots, he has to buy a round of drinks for the table.

Bett was the first to drop a pretzel into the chocolate pot.

She had to kiss Steve.

Ivy dropped a banana into the chocolate pot.

My poundcake disintegrated in the chocolate pot. hehehe

Wil dropped something too.

Have a nice day!

9/19/00

I'm back! Cancun and Vegas was a blast! Unfortunately shortly after, I got struck down with something awful. Can you believe that?! I spent the past week and half exhausted with fever, wiping a constant drippy nose, and doubled over with a hacking cough. At this rate, I should have abs of steel by next week. =/

I originally thought I caught something from Bett, who had the sniffles on the last day of our trip. But I think I actually got it from Wil (who got it from Ivy, who got it from Oli, who got it from Steve, who got it from Aaron). And now, I passed it on to Aric. *oops*

By the way, I want to say THANKS to everyone who called or sent cards, flowers, balloons, gifts, e-cards, or simply remembered my birthday. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!
Also a grateful THANKS to a special group who took me out to LaFondue on Sunday. *sniff* You guys are the best!

Most importantly, the gals closest & dearest to my heart (who treated me to the Cancun/Vegas trip)....they say that you're the luckiest person in the world if you encounter one true best friend. Well, I have four! You guys fill my life with love, laughter, support, and zaniness! I love you guys!

I'm still a bit weak from being sick (...yeah, I'll milk all the sympathy I can get). hehehe
So here are some pictures from our Cancun trip. I'll add the Vegas pictures in the days to follow, along with pictures from Alice's birthday party, and LaFondue.
Enjoy!

Our last night in Cancun.

*sigh*...I think I need another vacation! =)

8/31/00

COUNTDOWN: 3 more days till Cancun!

I think I'll watch "How Stella Got her Groove Back" tonight...just to get into the spirit of things. =)
Taye Diggs is one fine brutha!

This will probably be the last update until I return from my vacation. I'm not as dedicated as Comabound, who updated everyday while on her Hawaiian vacation. But you know I'll take lots of pictures and post them as soon as I get back.

Speaking of Hawaii...Aric and Wey, are leaving for Oahu on Friday. Mike, Dai-Lo, and Tosh left earlier this week. They're going for the IDRC Aloha Nationals and for "Naked Lady" at Femme Nu. hehehe For race information, check out: http://www.importdrag.com/

Oh, you want to hear something crazy?...we're flying directly to Vegas after Cancun! To me, that's like, O.D-ing on fun. A bunch of our friends are going down that weekend, so we decided to meet up. Besides, I heard it wasn't much more to include it into our package. The Tigers Tournament (basketball) also falls on that weekend...so you can pretty much expect all of the AGC from Southern Cali to be there.

Both Aric and Bett won on slots last time we went. C'mon, when's lady-luck gonna be on my side? *pout*

For those of you who are gonna kick it in the Bay, here are some parties you can hit:

9/1 Friday-
DNC Holiday Inn @ Van Ness
1500 Van Ness, SF

9/2 Saturday- * H Y B R I D * SPACE 550
550 Barneveld, SF

9/3 Sunday- ABZOLUT LABOR DAY BASH
P O L L Y E S T H E R
181 Eddy St. @ Taylor, SF

Have a great long weekend, and drive safely!

8/30/00

Ivy, Bett, Cin, and I got an email from Wil: "Ok, this time next week, we will be on a white-sand beach looking out into the Gulf of Mexico, sipping daiquiris and coladas, bronzing our bods, with gorgeous men rubbing lotion on our backs....."

Now, now, girl...remember, you're married! =) hehehe Actually, I can barely contain my excitement myself!...it's going to be great! Yep, in exactly 4 and a half days, we will be on our way to Cancun Mexico for 5 days and 6 nights.

This is the picture of the Hotel we're staying at - Hyatt Regency Cancun. They feature:
-Extensive social activities program
-Split level heated swimming pool, with in pool lounge chairs
-Swim-up bar
-Waterfalls
-Nautilus equipped gymnasium with qualified instructors
-Massage room
-Sauna
-Nearby sports facilities include: 18-hole Robert Trent Jones designed golf course, tennis courts (perfect for Wil)
-Watersports & marinas
-Sundeck over the water
....just to name a few. *wink*

*sigh* I can't wait! Ya know, this will be the first time all five of us pulled off a trip together (other than road trips and Vegas). For years and years we've talked about taking trips to the East Coast, Europe, Asia, or somewhere tropical together, but never got the chance. I know I'm going to sound very haole, but I'm STOKED! I mean, who knows when or if we may ever get this chance again. I mean, Cin and Wil might decide to have kids soon. *GASP!* =P

8/28/00

I have to apologize for the lack of updates this past week. I got emails from restless readers telling me to "update, already!". Alright, alright...sheesh. I can't help it if my life's boring. Nothing terribly exciting happened at all last week except that I finally finished a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle I was working on. That just goes to show you how fun my life is. hehehe

Seriously though, I've been on this puzzling kick since the radiation treatments. I've finished eight 550-piece puzzles, and one 1000-piece puzzle. Pitiful, huh? Next thing you know, I'll be knitting for fun. HAHAHAHA

Aric came up over the weekend. On Saturday, we met up with some friends at the

I've never been there, except for dinner at Montage, but I never checked the place out. I finally played the much-talked-about virtual bowling. It was pretty fun...they practically had to drag me away from that thing.

The Metreon arcade was hosting a Dance Dance Revolution Tournament.

It's similar to BustAMove (dancing game), except instead of pressing buttons to the beat of the music, you have to step to the beat on lit arrows on a platform. Sounds easy?...well, these guys sure made it look real easy, but it's actually pretty damn hard.

After exploring every floor of the Metreon, Aric and I met up with Cin & Matt for dinner. We ate at this japanese restaurant where we were the only people in the entire joint....no joke. Saturday night was Blockbuster night. We hung out and watched the Boiler Room & Dogma.

I really like Kevin Smith movies. I like that he uses a lot of the same actors and characters in his movies (same goes for Adam Sandler). Kevin Smith movies (not including Mallrats) provokes thought, all the while being very entertaining.

My favorite is Jay and Silent Bob. Every foul thing that comes from Jay's mouth cracks me up.

Sunday, Wil & I worked at the store. Sis took a night off and we watched the store and the kids. Chris's hair was a bit unruly, so I decided that I was going to trim her hair for her...and that it was going to turn out fabulous! =/ Not quite. I spent 45 minutes trying to make it nice and even, but all I ended up doing was cutting it shorter and shorter. It was so frustrating and scary. I ended up taking Chris to the salon behind the store so the lady could salvage what I did to my poor niece's hair. =/ Oh, and today's her first day of 8th Grade, too! *eeeks!* Hope she doesn't hate me for jacking her hair. So I started entertaining the thought of taking a costmetology class. Half my family spends a lot on haircuts and trims, and the other half refuses to pay for something they think they can do themselves. I wonder how much it costs to join a school like that? How long does it take? How much is tuition? Anyone with any info?

This week should fly by. I'll keep you all posted!
Have a nice day!

8/21/00

*yawn*....Mondays are no fun! No fun at all! =(

Especially when you only got a few hours of sleep. I am turning into such a 'fraidy-cat these days. Yesterday, I spent the day with Cin. It was great! We had lunch, saw a movie, went shopping, and had dinner. But the images of the movie we saw kept me up ALL night.

This movie was so eerie. It's about Carl Stargher (Vincent D'Onfrio), a psychologically disturbed killer...who built The Cell, a glass-encased chamber, where he drowns his innocent female victims before continuing a sadistic post-mortem ritual with their bodies. As the FBI finally closes, Stargher is rendered comatose by a violent seizure and is ultimately apprehended into their custody...but not before leaving his latest victim alive in The Cell with only forty hours to live. Unfortunately, only Stargher knows where she is. Catherine Deane (Jennifer Lopez), a child therapist, is part of an advanced neurological study at a research division of a large pharmaceutical company, where she's been using breakthrough technology to enter into the mind of a catatonic patient in hopes of bringing him back to his loving parents. While FBI agents Peter Novak (Vince Vaugh *woo-hoo!*) and his partners follow clues to uncover the missing girl's whereabouts, the FBI enlist Catherine to embark on an uncharted and perilous journey through Stargher's demented mind.

Don't get me wrong...I liked the movie. It had amazing special effects and costumes. But the "dream" sequences really tripped me out. Oh, and at one scary point, Cin shot her arm out to grab my hand, and that was enough to make me scream out loud. Besides, there are a lot of sick & twisted people out there, and they don't need movies like this to give them any more ideas. =/
*zoiks!*

What can I say....Vince Vaughn is a hottie! And Jennifer Lopez was gorgeous!
Hopefully, I'll be able to sleep peacefully tonight.

I spent most of the weekend kickin' it at home. Wil & Tony went river rafting (Level 4) in Sacramento with a huge group...I'm glad they got home in one piece. On Saturday, I had lunch with Trish at Stanford. It was so nice catching up after all these years. It's a small world I tell ya! When I met Trish back in '91, we knew a lot of the same people. And that pretty much expanded in the passed 10 years! Does that make sense? Anyhow, she is an incredibly sweet and bubbly person! We shopped, shopped, had ice cream, and shopped some more! I actually splurged on quite a few purchases this weekend! *bad, peg, bad!*

You know what I notice a lot lately?...'marriage' being a hot topic of conversation among my peers. It used to only be something my parents, grandmothers, or aunts & uncles brought up. But nowadays, people can talk at length about it....including myself. *geez*
To date:
- I have been a bridesmaid three times.
- I have caught the bouquet 4 times.

*sigh* =D

Have a nice day.

8/16/00

I opted for a nice quite dinner with Wil instead of going to Gordon Biersch last night. It's been a while since Wil and I had dinner alone. We reminisced over our childhood days & growing up. I was the notoriously mean and bossy big sister...at least that's how she remembered it. I thought I was a cool big sister. hehehe

Here are some of our recollections:
Wil: grabbing her legs and pulling her under water in the swimming pool (thus making her
hydrophobic now).
Peg: teaching her and her friends dance routines for the talent show (which they won).
Wil: beating up on her.
Peg: beating up on a girl that tried to beat up on her at school.
Wil: wouldn't allow her to play with me and my friends.
Peg: took her to faternity parties with me when she was 15 years old.
Wil: torturing her with scary movies.
Peg: letting her sleep with me.
Wil: waking her in the middle of the night to accompany me to the bathroom.
Peg: waking her in the middle of the night to accompany me to the bathroom.

HEHEHEHE...yeah, I admit...I did some pretty heinous things to her when we were little. But I'd like to think I made up for it as we got older. Nowadays, people always assume that she's the older sister. It's because she's looks and acts more mature and serious. I still do things to get a reaction out of her, but it doesn't have the same effect as it used to. =)

Well, here are some pictures from Ed & Sue's wedding, like I promised. Enjoy!

8/15/00

Let me just say...my liver's not the same as it used to be. I finally recovered from the mean @ss hangover that was plaguing me for all of Sunday and some of Monday. I got kinda smashed at Sue & Ed's wedding. =/ ....which by the way, was absolutely gorgeous! The church, the reception, the banquet, the best man... *sigh*...everything was absolutely beautiful! Being the photo freak that I am, I took over 70 pictures that day! I would have kept going if I didn't run out of film, damnit! But that was also what contributed to my drunken demise. hehehe I completely missed dinner, and instead, got full off of 4 glasses of merlot, a glass of champagne, and 3 shots of captain morgans. *gag* Ugh, the sheer thought makes my stomache lurch. =O~
Anyhow, I swore never to drink again (for the fourth time in my life)! =P

As we speak, Eddie & Sue are lounging on the beach in Maui...holding hand, gazing in each other's eyes, and smiling. Those two are too cute! You know, I have to give them major props...they planned this wedding in a relatively short amount of time AND they did it without breaking a sweat. I guess if there's a will, there's definitely a way. Also, having a lot of already-married-friends lending a hand (or two) helps too! =D
I will post some pictures up soon.

Tonight I'm invited to this Linux thing at Gordon Biersch. Free food and free drinks. Free drinks?...uh, no thanks.

Have a nice day!

8/11/00

YAY! IT'S FRIDAY! I'm heading down to Southern Cal tonight. It should be a fun weekend! =)

Eddie and Sue are getting married tomorrow! CONGRATULATIONS! Wishing you both lots of love, happiness, and KIDS!!!! hehehehe

Also..... Happy 7th Birthday to my niece, Marisa!
May your birthday be as fun as you! I love you, sweetie!

Last, but not least.... Happy Birthday, Stacey!

Have a good weekend!

8/7/00

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

This certainly brightened up my otherwise drab Monday! This picture was stolen from Anthony's site (sorry, dude). hehehehe Darwin, Oli, Aaron, Anthony, PlanetSteve, Alice, Martin, and a bunch of their friends were in Hawaii last week. From a peek at Anthony's pictures, it looks like the gang had a blast...especially Darwin! I also caught a glimpse of my girl, Denise, in one of the pictures! =) You gotta check out Darwin's hula dancing video on Anthony's site: http://www.shek.net

Darwin is such a good sport!....he always has a way of making everyone laugh and everything fun! Welcome back, you guys!

Can I just say...I love Costco! Wil, Ivy, and I went to Costco last Friday night to buy groceries for "Italian Night". We ended up buying books, toiletries, and clothes. Yep! I scored a couple pairs of capri pants and carpenter jeans. If the store wasn't closing, I swear we could have stayed there all night.

For you fellow Costco fans, you can also shop online: www.costco.com! Sweeeeeeet!

My weekend was pretty kick back. Besides Costco, Wil, Ivy and I went Nad's-crazy on Friday night. You know that infomercial product called "Nad's"? The all natural hair removal products? Well, Wil bought it a couple of weeks ago, and we've been trying it out. It really works! We tried it on all the places girls normally have to shave. Pretty cool! =D On Saturday, I just hung out with Ivy, Wil Cin, Bett, K, and Matty. We all cooked dinner together, ate, went hot-tubbing, and watched TV. Wil and I and worked at the liquor store last night....and that's about it.

I know I've been lagging on my dream log. Often times, my dreams are so whacked that I wonder if there's something seriously wrong with me. I know I should document them anyway, and I'll try to do that tomorrow. =P

Have a good night.

8/4/00

Yeah, yeah...I know you think I'm nuts. But c'mon, admit it...you want one too. Everyone I talked to wants one, but is too embarassed to go get it. Me?...I have no shame. =)

Most of this week I've been suffering pretty bad back pains. On Wednesday, it was so severe I couldn't move. My dad had to help pull me up. Sad, huh? Yeah, I'm getting old. hehehe There was just one other time in my life that I couldn't move, and it was in junior high. For two weeks in Phys-Ed, we did aerobics. I over did it the first day, and the next morning, my whole entire body was in pain. I couldn't move. I felt like my body didn't belong to me since I had no motor control. The pain made me want to laugh and cry at the same time. You know when your leg falls asleep, and you try to shake the numbness away?...the pins and needle feeling you get afterwards?....the kind where you can't talk or breathe until the sensitivity wears off? Well, it was like that. I still remember it so clearly. My mom thought I was faking. She would push me along so I wouldn't miss the school bus. Boy, that was HELL!

Anyhow, I think I'll be spending this weekend relaxing. A bunch of us are cooking dinner tomorrow night at Cin & Matty's. It's "Italian " night. I haven't decided on a dish yet. Wil's doing salad and Chianti. Ivy's making carpaccio and a dessert. Bett's making lasagna and garlic bread. Cin & Matt are making linguine and clams. What the heck should I make? I thought of fried calamari, but I've never tried that before. If you think of any yummy recipes before tomorrow, please drop me an email.

Things to do this weekend if you're bored:
8/5 Abzolut- Hybrid www.abzolut.com

8/5-8/6 San Francisco Nihonmachi St. Festival-Japantown. (415) 771-9861

8/5-8/6 Cabrillo Music, Art, Food, & Wine Festival- Santa Cruz (831) 420-5260

Have a great weekend!

8/1/00

Happy August! My back is killing me! I don't know what it is...I'm not sure if it's from constantly sitting in front of the computer, or from cleaning nasty bathrooms last night, or sleeping funny, or from my deep tissue massage on Saturday. My coworkers think it's the latter...referring to an episode of Seinfeld (where Kramer gives Elaine a massage, and it makes her feel great until the next day...when she
can't move).

On Saturday, I went to Millie's bridal shower. We had lunch at Cheesecake Factory, then we walked over to the spa. I got an hour long massage, from head to toe... complete with aromatherapy and cool cucumber water. It felt fabulous! Sometimes I think I'm so "chinese"...in the sense of wanting to get my money's worth. I mean, the point of getting a massage is to relax the muscles and promote circulation. But my theory is "no pain, no gain"...and since it's a rare occasion that I get massages, I wanted her to get all the kinks out. The massuse started gently before gradually tearing up the muscles with her iron-like grip. You're suppose to let her know when it becomes too painful...but since I have a high threshold for pain, I never said anything. I ended up feeling like I was put through the heavy duty spin cycle the rest of the day.
I highly recommend this place. The people are incredibly friendly (not to mention, beautiful). And this place only uses Aveda products...which is a treat for my Herbal-Essence skin. =)

After the spa, I met up with Wil, Tony, Ivy, Cin, Matt, Steve, and Wing in J-Town for dinner, and dancing. We went to the Glas Kat Klub (the old Trocadero) and met up with Bett, Susan, and Hee. It's been a while since I went clubbing, and sad to say, but...I forgot how to dance. =( I was doing the same side-to-side two step as I used to in high school. *sigh* I think we hung out for only a couple hours before we decided to call it a night.

I can honestly say that I was not only physically wrecked, but I was kind of perturbed that day. I wasn't going to say this, but I realized that the whole point in my having my own webpage is to say what I feel, share my opinions, and not worry about it. Last night, Millie called and asked me to be one of her bridesmaids. Circumstances made it difficult for one of her original bridesmaids to be involved. But from my observation on Saturday, it didn't look like many of her bridesmaids are involved. Which is sad. I don't know much about wedding customs, rituals, or etiquette, but I always thought that the bridal shower was a day to "shower" the bride-to-be with attention. Instead, it didn't feel like a shower at all..at the most, it felt like just a group of girls getting together for the day. Poor Millie made her own bridal shower favors...individually wrapped star-shaped lavendar votives.
Each girl was absorbed in their own conversation and often times ignoring the bride-to-be. But the thing that irked me the most was at lunch and at the spa, some of the girls complained about having to buy shoes for the bridesmaid dresses (dresses that Millie spent months picking out and bought). I thought these girls were pretty selfish, immature, and inconsiderate. Yeah...I realize that they might read this, but ask me if I care? They should just be thankful that I didn't post any of their pictures from Saturday. *huff!*

On Sunday, I spent the day with JJow! We went to the mall, hung out, and caught up. Had dinner at an all you can eat buffet. Hehehehe....we sat there for almost three hours. =) We tried to get tickets for "What Lies Beneath", but it was sold out. That was my exciting weekend.

You know that song, "Stan" by Eminem? When I listen to is, it makes me feel a little bit of fear, anxiety, and disgust. And in some twisted way, I like it. The chorus, sung by Dido (who sings the Rosewell theme), haunts me. It's been playing in my head for the past few days now. Well, at least, N'Sync's "It's Gonna Be Me" is no longer playing in my head. *whew* =)

Tonight I'm meeting my girlfriends for dinner. It should be fun.

Have a good night!
