Happy Birthday, Sho!

Just wanted to wish my 27 year old, Southern California residing, smart, hard-working, sweet, responsible, funny, 6'2", tall, dark, handsome, and SINGLE godbrother a very special bithday! I've been trying to get him to join my Dating Game for the longest time, but he's too shy. *sigh* Oh well. *wink*

Mondays suck. Especially cold, gray, and rainy mondays. It took me an hour and half to get to work this morning. Unbelievable!
I had a pretty restful weekend. Let's see...Ivy cooked dinner for us on Friday night. It was to thank Aaron for moving her new bed from South San Francisco to San Jose. Oli had a bit of difficulty putting it together. When he finally finished, he proudly stated that if Ivy should ever sell her house, the bed would come with the house..."cuz that baby wasn't goin' ANYWHERE!" I wondered if he bolted it to the wall?
Saturday, I stayed home, cleaned, scrubbed, reorganized, and vaccuumed the house, and watch movies with my parents.
Sunday, I had lunch and ran errands with Wil and John, then went to a wedding in the City with my mom. It was held at the Fairmont Hotel- both the ceremony & banquet was breath-taking! Congratulations to Steven & Jenny! So, guess who caught the bouquet?!....nope, not me. I finally met someone more agressive at bouquet catching than I am. She wore a black tight slinky dress, with a slit up to there. But when she came onto the dance floor with her dress bunched up in her left hand and no shoes, I knew she meant business. Gawd, I hope I never looked like that. Oh, and get this....her name was Peggy too. *tsk*
After years and years of favoring Chinese banquet style weddings, my mom decided a hotel wedding would be better. I think she's impressed with the Fairmont. Although I don't know if she would feel the same if she saw the bill, ya know? I mean...good lawd, valet parking was $30!...and homeboy didn't even bring the car to me. He handed me the keys and I had to go get it, then pick my mom up in front cuz it was raining. That's cool. Afterall, what's a Toyota when he has all those Mercedes to pull up?

Have a nice day!
