"opened my eyes today
and I knew there's
something different
saw you in a brand new way
like the clouds had
somehow lifted
and if yesterday I heard
myself saying these words
I would swear it was a lie
I don't know why
but suddenly I'm falling
was I so blind
I was loving you all the time
now I'm hopelessly addicted
helplessly attracted
naturally we acted
chemically reacted"

"Hopelessly Addicted" by The Corrs

I've been listening to The Corrs lately...already had two of their CDs, and got a third CD from Winger for Christmas (thanks, buddy!) The Irish Quartet is composed of three sisters and a brother. They're all beautiful! I think of Aric when I hear this song.
We've been the best of friends for the past 10 years and it still amazes me how things turn out. He's visiting this weekend. YAY! =D

I went to Dave & Buster's with Morris last night. I haven't been there since Bett's birthday. As always, it was pretty crowded. We played my favorite coin game, the Derby game, and the Furious Furlong. I won 3 out of 3 times; first race was a apple martini wager, second and third was a double or nothing wager for dinner. Oh yeah...I'm good! AHAHAHAHAHA I haven't hung out with Morris in a while, and even though we used to hang over the years, I don't think I've gotten to know him quite as well as I have in these few weeks. One thing I've learned...he can get pretty competitive with arcade games.
I broke my jade bracelet playing one of the games (I guess I should stop hitting the machines, huh?...just kidding). I didn't realize it broke until I looked down and saw blood on my wrist. The sharp edges had cut me. I was so bummed because it was a pricey gift from my mom. But she said that it's a good sign (a chinese superstition to ward bad luck and keep you protected). I think knocking on wood is cheaper and a lot more safe. But that's just me. =P

Stay dry, drive safe, and have a fun weekend!
