Happy Munday!
Of all the movies currently playing in the theaters, I picked a rather disappointing one last Friday night. Aric, Cary, and I saw "Antitrust".

It's about an idealistic young computer genius, Milo (Ryan Phillippe), who's recruited by NURV- a multi-billion dollar corporation, run by his professional hero, Gary Winston (Tim Robbins). When tragedy strikes, Milo soon realizes that Winston and the company will stop at nothing to win. Compared to other paranoia/conspiracy movies, I think "The Firm" was much better. Oh, and not to dogg on a fellow asian, but the guy who played Teddy Chin (Milo's best friend), was less than impressive. What was up with his hair?!...It was a perm from hell! =/ I really wanted to see "Save the Last Dance", but it was sold out. *poo*

Saturday, I finally ventured to

in Emeryville. Whoa, that place was a madhouse! Rich, Millie, Aric, and I got a great deal on a duvet with matching pillowcases...only $12.95! *cheap-cheap* =)
Aric bought two dressers from IKEA last week. This completes his bedroom set. He said he got a four drawer dresser for himself, and a eight drawer dresser for me. Eight drawers?!....that's it???? HAHAHAHA Also, Aric's been on a candle-kick lately, buying all sorts of scented candles and tealights.

A: "Look, Peg, a bag of one hundred tealights for five bucks!"
P: "What are you going to do with a hundred tealights?"
A: "Uh...I dunno. Light them and conserve engery".

Sure, playing PS2 by tealight, while downloading Napster on PC, and listening to MP3s from your laptop is real energy-conscious. hehehehe...just kidding.

Anyhow, after IKEA, we had lunch at the Ranch 99 Plaza in Albany, hung out at a cafe and poured through ALL of Rich & Millie's wedding pictures over coffee and pearl milk teas. *yum* Aric and I spent Saturday night with Cin & Matty...eating and watching movies. =D Driving home from Matty & Cin's, we passed the colliseum and saw a long trail of cars and campers staking out overnight for the Raider Game.

Sunday, Aric and I ran errands and ate lunch. It was my first time consuming a square-pattied burger from Wendy's. Yeah...what rock did I crawl out from??? hehehe It wasn't bad.

We saw Stars On Ice at the SJ Arena with my parents, Rudy, and my niece, Amanda. Followed by a nice quiet dinner downtown. As always, I had a fun weekend....hoped you did too! =)
