my journal

I didn't do much over the weekend...but that was exactly what I wanted to do. I finally caught up on much needed sleep, cleaned up my desk, cleaned house, did laundry, and changed my bedspread. Friday night, I met Wil, Tony, Ivy, and Tally for dinner at Bennigan's (note: they serve THE best baked potato soup!) Saturday, I slept till noon, made myself busy around the house, and watched DVDs (Dogma & Purple Rain). I must say, The Artist Formerly Known As Prince, was such a musical genius...I wonder what he's up to these days. =T I spent Saturday night with my parents. Yeah, I'm such a homegirl. *shrug*

Wil & Tony went on a one-day snowboarding trip, compliments of Seagate (one of Tony's vendors). They provided 45 people transportation to and from Kirkwood via tour bus, lift tickets, and dinner & cocktails! Tony works for such a cool company...he's always getting cool loot and perks! Sunday, I went to support my mom lecture at a Buddhists Class. Very enlightening. Afterward, Wil, Tony, and I met up with Ivy, Oli, Matty, and Cin at IKEA. We were in that store a little over 4 hours!...Holey-canoli! I've had enough IKEA for a whiles. REALLY!!! =/

We had dinner with Olivia and Donnie at Katana-Ya Ramen. Their menu is as thick as an Instyle magazine. The choices of combination dinners are enough to make your head spin. I had the Ramen Curry Set. It came with soup, corn salad, bowl of ramen, a side plate of chicken curry and rice, kimchee, and drink...all for less than $8.00! They accidentally brought me two corn salads, which I gratefully accepted. Donnie then mentioned something about corn , supposedly, coming out the way it went in. After much discussion, I willingly became a test subject for Donnie's useless trivia.

Test #1: how many days before corn shows up...you know...in your poop.
Test #2: if kernels are recognizable if swallowed whole.

Test Update: no signs yet. Yeah, I know what you're thinking...I need to get a life. hehehehe I'm working on it.

Have a nice day!
