Winter 2000 Eagle Beach, Aruba

2000's vacation time ran into January 2001 for a one week break on the Happy Island of Aruba ! This is a fabulous spot to break away, and the weather is warm, breezy and very predictable. Click on the beach picture for our Aruba vacation review.

Spring 2000 St. John, U.S.V.I.

St. John is the smallest of the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the least developed, since most of the island is National Park land. Verdant hills, innumerable beaches and endless Caribbean views make this a beautiful spot to break away.

Join us and see how we spent our week - snorkeling, exploring, hiking and just laying around.

Fall 1999 Sunset on Moloka'i

The setting sun lights a wave breaking on the shore of "Dixie Maru" beach, on the west side of Moloka'i. Although this beach does have a Hawai'ian name, it is commonly referred to by the name of a Japanese freighter which sank here a few years ago.

Sue saw the wreck briefly about 100 yards off the shore while we were snorkeling, but the evening surf was becoming very rough and we decided that we want to live in Hawai'i - not die there! Click on the picture for a report on our trip to Moloka'i and the Big Island of Hawai'i.
