Phil’s Miniature Carousel |

In August 2007, I was contacted by Post Supervisor Tim Weber of the CBS series NUMB3RS. He informed me that they were shooting an episode which required footage of a carousel and were planning to shoot footage of one of the local carousels in Los Angeles. They found my webpage and came up with the idea that it would be much easier to film a small scale model than having to gather a crew to film a full size carousel. I brought my carousel to the NUMB3RS production studio and set it up in one of their rooms. They had their cameras all set up and started filming away. The episode was titled “Velocity” and it aired on national television in October 2007. They wanted to see pictures of what the carousel looked like from a top view. Here are some pictures taken from the studio as well as stills from the episode.
