Platform, rounding board and housing |

Here are pictures of the upper and lower frames and housing. I had to paint the shields and jesters and then temporarily fastened them onto the rounding board with rubber bands and paper clips. Then I traced around them with a pencil and then cut the excess wood using a rotozip. I painted the rounding board, platform and housing before putting the shields and jesters on permanently. The motor and gear mechanism works just like a real carousel, so my horses go up and down just like a real carousel. |
