My Mom and Dad have always told me I was a real princess.

Freya, I am spoiled - spoiled rotten and I love it. I am an only child you know.
I had a Whippet brother Jesse but he passed away a few years back.
I had a sweet kitty sister Pebbles, but she too passed on. I miss them both very much.

I bet it is lonesome. You're like me and have to entertain yourself.
What does a dog do to have fun?

I have lots of toys. I LOVE my toys. I play with them. Shake them. Chase them.
I have a special place for them..
Here's a little secret, Freya. I sleep with them, under them and on them.
I also like to play outside. Even if I am a princess, I'm no sissy, Freya.
I play in the water. I'm not afraid of snow. And I love my pink ball.

You do get lots of exercise. No wonder you have such a great figure.
You look as active as a puppy.

Oh Freya, I'm no puppy.
I'm now 9 years old now. I'm a Whippet.
When I was 4 months old my Mom and Dad adopted me from Whippet Rescue.

I guess that means you 'whip' around a lot. Don't you ever nap ... or sleep ... or just relax?
Miss Haley
Sure I take naps. I also relax - especially when Mom or Dad pet me.

I have traveled coast to coast with my parents. First we drove all the way to Florida, It took 2 days. I saw so many things!
We visited my Grandpa & then Mom & Dad put me in a kennel so they could go to Disney World!

Sigh ... too bad. I'd love to go to Disney World too.

On another vacation we drove all the way to California! It took 3+ days.
I saw so many things! We traveled through mountains & deserts,
I went into lots of interesting places and got pets from everyone.

Of course you got pets. You're a real lovable doggie, Miss Haley.

I enjoy my life here in Texas and think every doggie and kitty should visit The Lone Star State.
