Paint Shop Pro 7

Tool Settings

This section will list the exact settings required for Paint Shop Pro 7 users. I would encourage you to setup your paint program prior to starting a new panorama creation. I have included an image of the corresponding button you will find on the PSP7 side Tool Palette for each of the tools listed below.

Toolbars

• Select View from the top menu and then Toolbars. Setup your toolbars as shown in the image below.

Paint Brush

• Color Value - 255,255,255 (pure white)
• Shape - Square
• Size - 25 to clear large areas, 10 to perform main edit, 2 or 3 for final editing
• Hardness - 100
• Opacity - 100
• Step - 1
• Density - 100
• Build Up Brush - Unchecked

2nd Tab

• Use Precise Cursors - Checked
• Show Brush Outlines - Checked
• Pressure Sensitive Tablet - None

Magic Wand

• Match Mode - RGB Value
• Tolerance - 25
• Feather - 0
• Sample Merged - Unchecked

2nd Tab - Same as Paint Brush settings

Selection Tool

• Type - Rectangle
• Feather - 0
• Antialias - Unchecked

Clone Brush

• Shape - Round
• Size - 10 or higher
• Hardness - 0
• Opacity - 100
• Step - 25
• Density - 100
• Build Up Brush - Unchecked

2nd Tab

• Clone Mode - Aligned
• Sample Merged - Unchecked

3rd Tab - Same as Paint Brush 2nd tab

New Image (top toolbar)

• Width - 12,288 (1024 if using the Alternative Method Tutorial)
• Height - 512 or 256 (depends upon RBK file used)
• Resolution - 72.000
• Background Color - White
• Image Type - 16.7 Million Colors (24 bit)
