The RBK 12 segment object is basically a text file that defines the dimensional parameters which the Library Creator program uses to assemble your custom panorama in a library. The default setting limits the image size of each panel to 1024x256 and positions each panel well below the landplot horizon line resulting in approximately only the top half of the panorama actually being visible from most points on the course landplot. However, by following the instructions below you can modify these settings to allow for images of 1024x512 (1024x1024 if desired) and re-position the panel bottom edge to nest just below the horizon line.
1) Use notepad to open the file called RBK 12 Segment Pan.obj in the EA SPORTS\EA SPORTS Library Creator\Panoramas directory.
(*Please remember to rename the original file to OrigRBK 12 Segment Pan.obj in case you need to refer to the default parameters)
2) Next, scroll down until you see the first set of default object properties below, for some odd reason object piece8 is the first one listed yet it is assigned to Pan Segment 12, go figure. *Note that you will have to make the following changes in the object properties for each of the 12 panels.
parent end parent objectPiece8 node objectPiece8 v 4727.642101 -145.897733 -13449.767265 v 4727.642101 274.287507 -13449.767265 v 3752.441406 -145.897733 -14424.967192 v 3752.441406 274.287507 -14424.967192 vt 1.003401 0.000000 vt 1.003401 0.994043 vt -0.002189 0.994043 vt -0.002192 0.000000 vt -0.002192 0.000000 vn -0.707107 0.000000 0.707107 vn -0.707107 0.000000 0.707107 vn -0.707107 0.000000 0.707107 vn -0.707107 0.000000 0.707107 vn -0.707107 0.000000 0.707107 vn -0.707107 0.000000 0.707107 usetex R:/TW2003/courses/Library Creator Content/pans/segment Pan/Pan Segment 12.tga f 3/1/1 1/4/2 4/2/3 f 1/5/4 2/3/5 4/2/6
3) You will be editing the values in blue above.
4) Save your newly edited file as RBK 12 Segment Pan.obj in the Panoramas folder under your EA SPORTS Library Creator directory.
Finito~!
