During the 1992 school year, Colonel Straub was exposed to the threat of progressive multiculturalists who attempted to restrict speakers on our college and university campuses if they had any remote connection with the military. Although the talk he was requested to present dealt with Sociology and philanthropies in our nation, the multiculturalists (Members of the National Association of Multicultural Educators) attempted to prevent his lecture. Colonel Straub set about learning all he could about their organization and how ingrained they had become in the political structure of our college and university administrations. This lecture expands on that theme.

CONTENT:

The lecture deals with the organization and threat from the National Association of Multicultural Educators (NAME) and how their agenda is attempting to be ingrained in our national educational system. Subjects such as the English First program, the challenge to college and university curriculums, changes including graduate degrees in such as Ethnic Studies etc. are discussed at length. To counter the multiculturalists, Colonel Straub points out that our sons and daughters presently in college have banded together forming groups called (SAVE) Students Advocating Valid Education. With few funds for support, they have challenged college and university administrations to return curriculums to the core value subjects that have made this country great. Colonel Straub lauds help from the Foundation Endowment, an E. Stanton Evans organization, that attempts to gather support for the Chapters of SAVE throughout our nation and elaborates on the part elders should play to assure our children and grandchildren receive a valid education.
