Dear parents,

Your child is reading the fiction story "Any Small Goodness" by Tony Johnston and the Aesop's fables "The Ant and the Dove" and "The Lion and the Mouse," as retold by Ann McGovern. In these selections, your child will meet characters who work hard to help each other in times of trouble.

Vocabulary
