PHOENIX ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER SITE FOR PUBLIC LANDS FESTIVAL
The city of Phoenix South Mountain Environmental Education Center
will host the Valley's National Public Lands Day celebration
Saturday, September 18. The festival will offer participants the
chance to see live raptors and other critters up close; take a guided
hike along a petroglyph-dotted trail; scale an outdoor rock climbing
wall; enjoy informational displays; and much more. The event runs
from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
