Large Numbers of Fiesta Bowl and New Year's Travelers Expected at Sky Harbor
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has experienced record
numbers of passengers throughout 2004 and this weekend will be no
exception. Due to the end of the holiday travel period, New Year's
falling on a weekend and the Fiesta Bowl, the airport will be
extremely busy on Sunday and Monday. There will be approximately 20
additional charter flights filled with Fiesta Bowl fans. Terminals 2
& 3 will be especially busy as many of the charters will depart from
those terminals.

The Phoenix Public Library Foundation is the recipient of a $22,300
grant from Target Corporation that will be used to purchase 1,200
board books and other materials to prepare children for reading and
school success.
