FAMILIES CAN GET SHARE OF $64 MILLION UNCLAIMED INCOME TAX CREDITS
The recently launched city of Phoenix Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)
campaign will help low-income working families, who earned less than
$35,000 last year, to file taxes and receive up to $4,300 by
providing free tax-filing services. Internal Revenue Service
officials estimated last year that more than 35,000 Phoenix residents
who were eligible to receive the federal EITC failed to claim their
money, which was estimated at $64 million.
