YEAGER CANYON DAY HIKE JUNE 11 PROMISES COOL VISTAS
Scottsdale's recreation division invites residents to escape the heat June 11 for a day hike through Yeager Canyon.
Located in the Coconino National Forest, the Yeager Canyon trail features a six-mile loop around Mingus Mountain. The trail follows an old logging road and Yeager Creek and promises some magnificent views.
The cost for residents is $45, for nonresidents it's $68. Call the city's Outdoor Excursion Program at (480) 312-7901 to register or for more details.
