Phoenix Branch Meetings

Meetings are held in the Board Room of the Beatitudes

1616 W. Glendale, Phoenix, AZ

on the 3rd Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.

Dinner costs $12.


The Beatitudes needs to know how many are coming for dinner.  To make a dinner reservation please call Alicya Malik 602-944-3516.  If you wish to come for the program only, please come at 6:30 p.m. 


From Glendale turn north on 17th Avenue. The entrance will be the second right.  From the entrance turn south and you will see a tree enclosed in a chain link fence.  Go around the tree and park near the fountain. There will be an AAUW sign on the Board Room door.

Stephanie Their from the Phoenix Art Museum's Costume Institute.   She will speak and show slides of its collection.


Nov. 18, 2008

Don and Aileen Nielson - 20th Century Humor.  Recycling of Humor Symbols.  They will show examples.


Dec. 2, 2008

Music at the home of Tom and Marty Horne.  In addition to their playing, Larry and Mia Lorenzen,

Jo Cleland, and Berta Leis will play. Maximum 25.  7:00 p.m.  This is not a dinner meeting.
