Litha is the name of a Saxon Grain Goddess,
identified with Ceres or Demeter.
Date: approximately June 21, 0 degrees
Cancer.
Seasonal Importance: Gold in the sky,
gold in the fields. Wedding time. The longest day. The fullness
of the year. Height of the Sun God's power. Honoring the Great
Mother and the Sun Father.
Activities: Bonfires to mimic the
blazing sun. Summer fun. Weddings.
