A PhotoFusion (tm) is an artwork composed of two or more tradtional
photographs or drawings. The artwork allows you to see interesting
the individual photos and intersting blended combinations of
the photos depending on the angle from which you are viewing
the artwork. The artwork is kinetic in that it appears to move
as you walk past it.
Inspired by the kinetic art of the famous Israeli artist Yaakov
Agam, photographer / artist Eric Redleaf developed a process
to transform his photographs into works of art. This process
fuses two (or more) photographs into a 3 dimensional piece of
kinetic art which appears to move from one photo to the other
as you walk past it. The artwork is kinetic because what you
see differs dramatically depending on the viewing angle. Your
custom PhotoFusion (tm) will be beautifully frames either in
a double glass floating mount or optionally framed using a double
glass floating mount, but instead of mounting on clear glass,
the back glass can be rippled whcih I believe enhances the visual
effect of the artwork. This framing alone a work of art, and
the combination yields something so extraordinary that you will
find it hard to believe it came from your photographs.
