1986 Grand Prix 2 + 2
This was my Pontiac 2+2. I owned it for 3 years and in an ironic turn of events ended up selling it back to the same guy I bought it from. The car had 73,000 miles on it but looked like it only had 7,000. It was gorgeous inside and out. This is one of the rarest of the G-bodies ever made. Most accurate sources claim only 1118 were made, and they were only made in 1986, unlike the Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe which was produced for two years. Pontaic made this car in street form so they could race it in NASCAR. It's only two victories came from Rusty Wallace. Pictures of him and the car are even somewhat hard to find. It is much easier to find pics of Richard Petty and his 2+2. Anyway life moves on and I had to sell the car. If you ever get the chance to see one of these in real, enjoy it. There can't be many left!
