Wedding Cakes
Your cake will be an integral part of your wedding day. It may reflect your style, taste, color, theme, interests, or it may just be a symbol of your love. Whatever message you want your cake to express with your guests, I will be happy to help you convey that message with your cake.
In planning a wedding you are faced with making a lot of difficult decisions. I am here to help you with ideas and an open mind to whatever vision you may have (or don’t have!) for your cake.
Flavors: Two of the favorites that I offer are an incredible carrot cake and a low fat strawberry. Others include: traditional white, yellow, chocolate, pound, almond pound, spice, lemon, orange, caramel, chocolate chip, french vanilla, and pineapple. Additional charges apply for carrot, strawberry, and pound cakes.
Prices: Prices are based upon the number of servings. Most flavors start at $2.15 per serving. Additional charges apply for special flavors, fillings, syrups, special frostings, and certain decorations. Servings are 2”x1” pieces. The top tier is not counted as a part of the price of the cake. Each tier contains two layers, unless you specify otherwise.
Decorations: Basic decorations are included in the price of your cake. Additional decorations may require an extra charge. Please ask for details.
Frostings: Regular Buttercream frosting is included in the price of the cake. For other frostings, the following additional charges apply: Cream Cheese Frosting: $0.05 per serving; Swiss Meringue Buttercream or similar: $0.15 per serving; Rolled Fondant: $1.50 per serving
Fillings: Fillings can be put in between layers for extra flavor. Fillings look and taste the best on four layer tiers. The charge for fillings is $10 for two layer tiers and $20 for four layer tiers.
Syrups: A syrup can be added to each layer of your cake to give it extra flavor and moistness. Syrups are $15 per tier for two layer tiers and $25 per tier for four layer tiers.
Fresh Fruit: Fruit is a wonderful addition to any cake and adds beauty and freshness. Fresh fruit may be added to your cake for market price plus 20%. Additional charges apply for candied fruit or sugarcoating.
Delivery/Setup: Setup is included in the price of your cake. Delivery is free within the Roanoke Valley. A delivery charge of $.75/mile applies to anywhere outside the valley.
