This is yet another group of Kienows from the Watertown, Wisconsin area, whose relationship has yet to be identified. They remained in the Watertown, Wisconsin area and many are buried at the Lowell Cemetary in Watertown. I would expect them to be related to the Kienow/Mittelstädts, but have not made the connection as yet. I have guessed that these are his birth and death dates, I can't remember why. From the dates of birth from Watertown, they came to the United States between 1873 and 1876. They appear in Watertown on the 1880 Census Vol 13, 180, Sheet 29, Line 2. The name was spelled "Kinoe", demonstrating the effort of the english speaking census taker to "correct" the spelling of Kienow. It is possible that this is the August Kienow of Fond du Lac.
