Ludwig Kienow married Wilhemina Steffen, born 2 November 1822 in Meesow, Pommern, and died 17 March 1901, in Faribault, MN (Rice County). Germans to America shows a "Mutter Kienow" traveling with the Wolf family (see Wolf/Kienow) as follows:

Germans to America, 1875-1888; Age: 50; Gender: Female; Occupation Code: Unknown;Country: Prussia; Last Residence: Unknown; Final Destination: Minnesota; Port of Embarkation: Bremen; Manifest ID Number: 36020; Ship's Name: Hohenstaufen; Date of Arrival: Apr. 08, 1881

The age on the manifest would fit the date of birth, so I think that it is safe to assume that this is Wilhemina Steffen Kienow. This is a very large branch of the family in America. Steven Kenow lists 382 descendants from a single grandchild of Ludwig and Wilhemina through the Kienow/Stark line. See Steven's web site at: Kenow/Smetana
