Castle Hot Springs
3/12/2005
Don't get excited. This is not it ! This is what your imagination would like to think (hope) Castle Hot Springs looked like. Naked girls frolicking in the hot water ! Dream on that’s just not the case !
Everything above this line is just a Dream __________
Reality starts here ---->
Hot steam boils from the earth
Many secluded / private areas
Young firm naked girls !
Castle Hot Springs has a very colorful history. I recommend that you do a search on it if you are really interested. To get to Castle Hot Springs you take Castle Hot Springs rd. The actual way in was at Morris Town. This was castle Hot Springs Junction a long time ago. This is the smoothest way in. The shortest way in is through Lake Pleasant. If you watch the signs, they try and fake you out to collect money, just blow them off unless you want to use the facilities at the lake. Castle Hot Spring road at this end is the river bed or next to it crossing back and forth.
Great fun coming up the river on an ATV !. I finally seen it, it was like a giant oasis in the middle of the desert. ,,,, But so many No Trespassing signs ! And even where I parked my AVT was posted - No Stopping, No Parking,,, MMMMmmm. It seems our state owns this property,,, and,,, to keep it out of the hands of the little people they gave it to ASU. So,,,, the upper echelon administrators (and select coeds) can use the facility. It's a shame ! I looked through a 6 foot fence to see a state historical marker that was too far away to read.
Here are a few Spy Photos with a zoom lens, but this may not be the area we want to see.
It wasn't a waste coming here, it would have been if I expected something other than just exploring. Now we know and I couldn't find anyone else that did ! ,,,, AND,,,, I found a great place to take lunch, isolated, shade, water running by, and beautiful rocks !
Just a few miscellaneous pictures I took going on the upper part of Castle Hot Spring rd .
Even I know there are a bunch of desert flower blooming. Excellent views at the higher elevations.
From another angle I could see the remnants of a trail going down in the crack between these 2 mountains.

Maybe next time I'll have me a look.
