Codes for magnetotelluric analysis

The following list describes C codes I wrote/developed for diverse magnetotelluric data analysis techniques plus other useful empirical calculations. Codes are obtained upon request.

 

  • Curent Channeling analysis: Computes induction parameters of 3-D analysis & current channeling strike angles based on methodoly published in Lezaeta & Haak (2004).
  • Apparent Resistivity data with Chi-2 errors and expected values: Computes correct apparent resistivity errors under the assumption of normally distributed impedances ( see documented demonstration).
  • Skin / Schmucker penetration depths calculation
  • Confidence Limit of phase sensitive skew parameter (Reference: Lezaeta, 2002).
  • Singular value decompositon of 3-D model MT responses to plot principal components (dimensional orthogonal mode of variation of the data) describing the spatial variation of the source field (in Matlab. Reference: Lezaeta et al.)
