Private Instruction

Desire:

As professional teachers we specialize in working with students who have a sincere desire to improve their trumpet playing skills and musicianship.

Goals:

Whether trumpet playing is for pure personal enjoyment or for career directed endeavors, we help each student to determine his goals and to develop a plan to successfully reach those goals.

Practice:

Regular home practice is an absolute necessity for steady rapid progress. Learning is both fun and rewarding when students understand how to practice smarter, not harder.

Benefits:

The technique, discipline, and self-knowledge gained from private study at the Academy will carry over into all aspects of daily living and education.

Recitals - Master Classes

Rehearsals - Sight Reading Sessions

Students are required to attend 3 Master Classes, 3 Sight Reading or Rehearsal Sessions, and 3 Recitals each year. Students may attend more than 9 sessions for no addition tuition. These offerings are an essential part of each student’s overall development. Of course we work with unavoidable scheduling challenges as they occur. Note: Adult students are not required to participate in this program.
