MY TAKE ON THE HEALTH CARE "REFORM" THAT PASS THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
This is only one lost battle in a long war that has been going on for almost 100 years, the final solution of socialism/fascism over freedom and capitalism. The Senate still has to pass their version and then the details of the two bills will have to be hammered out in a joint committee to get a final bill that can be passed by both Houses before the president can sign it. Now we have upcoming holiday recesses so action may not take place till next year just in time for the congressional mid-term elections. If it becomes law it does not go into effect till 2013 so it will not (it was hoped) affect the 2012 elections for our Dear Leader to get reelected. And even before the ink dries on a completed bill there will be lawsuits by all the opponents and maybe some prior supporters if there is none or very weak public option. And the States could very well refuse to carry out the law citing the Ninth and Tenth Amendments and that could end up in the courts also or armed takeover by federal authorities of the State governments. The war is not over yet but Obama could end it very quickly if he finds some excuse to suspend the Constitution and dissolve Congress. Then every person in this country will have to take a stand for freedom or tyranny.
During and since the 2008 presidential campaign I have noticed how Obama's supporters were participating in NAZI-like rallies, schoolchildren singing songs to the dear leader, and other questionable fascist activities Now we are seeing Nazi-like policies in the proposed national health care bills currently before the House and Senate that can only be classified as Eugenics.
Eugenics was a pseudo-science that was founded by English and American social Darwinists in the late 19th century and was advocated by Margent Sanger and her processor organization (now known as Planned Parenthood) up till the end of World War Two. Its goal was to advocate a more healthy and intelligent population by stopping the breeding of physically and mentally deficient persons and inferior (non-aryan?) races by mandatory sterilization. Eugenics was embraced and carried to its logical conclusion by the NAZIs as they "cleansed" German society by murdering millions of German and non-Germans, especially Jews, they considered to be inferior.
From what I can discover about Obama-care the very young, the unproductive old, the severally mentally or physically handicapped, and chronically ill will be denied aggressive medical care to keep them healthy or alive. That means any babies that are prematurely born or need immediate medical care to survive, old people who suffer from chronic diseases or need organ transports, or anybody who is a burden on the State will all be allowed to die by lack of lifesaving medical care. But it is not all bad, these new holocaust victims will get all the painkillers they need and end-of-life counselors to comfort them. And if they are not dying quickly enough to satisfy the State I can see euthanasia being carried out an overdose of morphine in the middle of the night -- and nobody will closely at the cause of death the next morning.

The enemy is different but the fight for survival is the same
The Bricker Amendment was proposed in 1953. It was designed to protect our Constitution against the danger of being amended or even abrogated via the "treaty" route. Even back then, and even before, many Americans recognized a very real danger represented by the United Nations and other international organizations. I believe that it is time to resurrect the Bricker Amendment since the danger of the Constitution being undermined is greater and clearer now than it has ever been before.
Why does the ignorant national press call lawful gun owners "Gun rights activists"? They are not like "abortion rights activists" trying to create an artificial right not found in the Constitution. Gun owners are defenders of the Constitution and the Second Amendment, a document that does not grant any rights to anybody, but limits the national government by spelling out what powers the government can and cannot exercise.
