Lately I have to ask who the real demons are. You know, the dangerous villains whose extremism threatens society. We hear from the media merchandized lies about who these terrorists are everyday. You know: Christians, gun owners, and my heavens, how about the freedom lovers? These people must be bad. The media tells us so! Sorry, Katie Couric, some of us aren't buying.
Though I've spent most of my life as a conservative moderate, I've always been an independent thinker - never influenced by popular trends, the media, or even so-called undisputed facts when parroted by others. If I hadn't done the research myself on a given topic, I didn't bow to the idol. Maybe that streak of independence is what alerted me to the current "Demonizing Campaign" the monopolized media heads are spewing.
Oh it's subtle - so subtle that many people never realize they're being influenced. An example of how insidious this influence can be: A friend called not too long ago, and the conversation turned to politics. She claimed to be worried about Y2K. I agreed the situation might warrant concern. Her next question startled me, "Have you heard the right wingers are going to be the new terrorists?"
Hmmm.... Moderate as I am, I'm definitely "right wing." After all, by today's standard, if you have morals, believe character counts, and actually raise your own children - let alone teach them to be morally fit - you're definitely considered a member of the far right.
Well, this right wing professional and mother has taken in every stray animal, homeless friends, and has donated both time and money to charity year-round for decades. Nor am I alone. I met most of my "right wing" friends helping at the schools, the Y, and various community churches and charity organizations. These are the new terrorists?
"Where did you get such an outrageous idea?" I asked.
"MSNBC or Janet Reno... I think." She couldn't remember exactly where this had been reported, but she was certain she'd heard this "fact" somewhere.
When I pointed out that she would be considered a "right winger" because of her pro-life stance, she could barely contain her disbelief. Oh yes, that's right, according to the media anyone pro-life is a "right-wing extremist." Uhuh... and the beat goes on.
Funny, the media is busy milking the tragedy of Columbine in an effort to disarm America. Busily they spew words like "fundamentalist," "religion," "patriotism," and "right wing," and insidiously twist them into catch phrases designed to uproot our very heritage and pave the way for their own leftist value system.
And what is this value system they would force upon Americans and their children - this much coveted, so-called utopian vision so sacred it justifies vicious lies and ludicrous manipulation perpetrated to demonize all who hold opposite views - what grand thing is it these finger-pointers sacrifice their integrity to support?
Allow me to share the view from here. No morals: If the person makes you money, it doesn't matter who he took it from or who he raped along the way - even if it's you. He can sell the country you live in to communists, as long as you don't have to hear about it until the nukes rain down.
No religion: Forget your soul - religion requires morals. Morals call for standards and bring safety and harmony. Morals are "out" with the left, after all, so many of them wouldn't qualify for dogcatcher if morals were a prerequisite for the job. It's a grab the money and power game; for the ultra leftists, morals just won't do. Forget trust - go for the cash and watch your back.
No values: Everything is for sale, and beauty is skin deep. For the militant left, that's as deep as it needs to go. To quote a leftist friend, "Its a whole new world out there. Got it? Those who complain at the last minute when they discover the new rules can kiss my backside or suffer."
No work ethic: The leftist maxims go something like this: I can't have you hurting my self-esteem. Work performance? What's that? I need to feel important or I'll sue! Who wants to be penalized for selling to the competitor or the enemy? Who wants to go to jail for being less than ethical? Oh no... no ethics for us.
No loyalty: Whether neighbor, spouse, or nation - if there's no profit involved, there's no loyalty. Recent example: Bradderick rape - NOW sold out because Clinton employs women (loyalty for jobs or feminist prostitution). China Gate and Chinese Campaign Funds - the DNC couldn't resist: the money was too good; ditto for the United States President, Lomar, Feinstein, Gore and a host of others. Can we trust these people? Nah, but what the heck, the media licks their boots and so many sheep follow, though these politicos have no loyalty for sheep or even for each other.
Legislated Slavery: That's right. The leftists know something the brainwashed should have realized long ago: There is NO FREE WEALTH. There are only so many leftist big shots and only so much cash. The ruthless garner all and those busting their butts to churn out the goods and services must be legislated into unpaid servitude in order to keep the socio-fascists rich, comfortable, and in control. Thus School to Work to keep those American kids in their "worker farm" place.
More - laws must be so restrictive, so crushing that the slaves are too busy being politically correct, too busy watching which side of the street they cross to, which word they used when they fell on the rocks that they don't have the time or the energy to challenge the system.
No privacy: That's right too. Welcome to the soicalists National ID. Papers ready, please, or go to jail. After all, you must be tracked: socially, politically, location-wise, bank account, genetic history, right down to your underwear size. If you don't like slavery, the leftists may have to find you fast.
This is a short overview, but one that looms ever nearer. By the way, if you don't like the picture, if you love freedom in America, if you wave your flag on fourth of July or teach your children moral values or the Ten Commandments so they'll never kill anyone - uh oh! - you're an American Patriot, and as reported by MSNBC (which many now call Marxist Syndicate Broadcast Communications) you're the latest terrorist. Uhuh. The Leftists want you.
According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, it also means they want three quarters of the American populace. You see, since the Klintonistas took office, it seems Patriotism is "In" - even in liberal California. Whoops, guess the public is onto to CNN, or what many knowingly call the Communist News Network. I guess most of America doesn't plan to join the so-called New World Order (though many San Francisco Nazi youths are now wearing N W O tee-shirts).
Wonder what they'll do to demonize us all now that their latest campaign is failing? Stage an incident and blame it on every flag waving American who goes to church?
According to a few in the military, they're afraid that's exactly what Janet Reno has in mind... but, hey, don't worry. This time the couch potatoes aren't buying. This time the campaign was too obvious - after all, they named almost every American in the nation as terrorists. Come election 2000, I predict these same Americans will throw the real terrorists out of office and start from scratch nationwide.
Goodbye, partisan politics. Goodbye, Janet Waco Reno. Goodbye, Arkansas Mafia. Goodbye, so-called utopian slavery. And finally, goodbye, media puppets. No one buys your "Demonizing Campaigns" anymore. In fact, you're the real demons - no, worse, you're dollar-eating, mercenary monsters and no one wants to feed you anymore.
