Family Vacations
GRAND CANYON RAILROAD TRIP (JULY 2006)
Our kids had never been to see the Grand Canyon, so we took a trip up to Williams, AZ to catch the Grand Canyon Railway steam engine up to the South Rim. We also visited the old mining town of Jerome, a deer farm outside of Flagstaff and a stop on Route 66. Erin's mom joined us for the trip as well.
FAMILY VACATION TO SAN DIEGO (MAY 2005)
Back to San Diego - our favorite place to get away from the heat! We spent an entire day at Legoland, picked more strawberries, hit the beach and visited with one of Erin's friends and her family at Balboa Park before hitting a water park on the way back to AZ.
TRIP TO SOUTHERN CAL FOR DISNEYLAND AND ASU/USC GAME (OCTOBER 2004)
Our second trip in less than a week took us to California for a visit to Glenn's parents' new house, a day trip to Disneyland and attendance at a less than stellar game by ASU against the USC Trojans. At least the kids had fun with Mickey and friends!
GRAY/PARKER/LINDLEY FAMILY WEEKEND IN MEXICO (OCTOBER 2004)
We joined Erin's parents, her sister's family and her brother for three days in Rocky Point, Mexico. We rented a beautiful four bedroom house next to the beach, so we spent a lot of time making sand castles and picking up shells!
FOURTH OF JULY IN IOWA (JULY 2004)
The Grays traveled to Iowa for the Fourth of July weekend to visit with Erin's family and attend her grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary party. The kids had fun hanging out with their cousins too!
FAMILY WEEKEND IN FLAGSTAFF (JANUARY 2004)
We decided to take advantage of a long weekend and travel north to introduce the kids to the snow. It didn't take long for them to realize why they live in the warm desert! We also stopped at Montezuma's Castle cliff ruins on the way home.
