I have the opportunity to travel throughout the 21 state region that my company (TriWest) is responsible for managing. Listed below are some of my more memorable trips...
HAWAII TRIPS (JUNE and DECEMBER, 2006)
(Pictures Not Yet Loaded)
I took two trips to Oahu in support of events we were sponsoring in Hawaii. I was able to bring my wife on the first trip, so we had a chance to do some sightseeing and snorkeling on the North Shore in between meetings and events with two Congressional Medal of Honor recipients - even ate some poi! The second trip included attendance at the 65th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, which was a somber but amazing experience, as I spent time hosting three more Congressional Medal of Honor recipients attending events as guests of TriWest.
NYC TRIP for MARINE CORPS BALL (NOVEMBER, 2006)
(Pictures Not Yet Loaded)
I traveled to NYC to attend the Marine Corps Ball and stayed at a hotel in Times Square for the first time. Quite an amazing place -- even at 1:30 in the morning, the place is full of activity! I even braved the cold weather and made the trek over to Rockefeller Center to see the Today Show - and made it on TV a couple of times in the process.
DC TRIP for TRIWEST (MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, 2003-2004)
TriWest is a primary sponsor of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS - which organized the event I attended in Alaska the previous year). TAPS holds a seminar over Memorial Day weekend in Washington, DC, for the family members of fallen military servicemembers. I've attended the weekend three times as TriWest's representative and assisted the families that TriWest sponsors from our region.

ALASKA TRIP (AUGUST 2002)
I took an 11 day trip to Alaska as my company's representative at the TAPS Armed Forces Eco-Challenge, a four to six day adventure race held near Ft. Greely, AK, from August 10-18.
My company (TriWest) sponsored four military teams in the race. Only 7 of the 22 teams entered actually finished the race with all four team members, three of those being TriWest teams.
