Coach Joey

Hey! I'm Joey. I had the privilege of coaching Pinewood Lake a few years ago and now I'm back for more. My experience as a swimmer/diver includes 13 years as a member of Hayfield Farms Swim Club. I was a 4-time NVSL all-star and now compete on the college level at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I am a rising Senior and my studies include Public Policy Administration and General Management. I am super excited about the opportunity to come back this summer and look forward to having a ton of fun! See you at the pool!

Hello! My name is John (which has four letters in it just like there are four strokes) and rhymes with SAUNa which can feel like summer time which leads me, fun at the pool!!  My experience in the N.V.S.L (Mansion House) and D.C.C.L (Mount Vernon Yacht Club) have contributed to fond childhood memories and I look forward to new chapters involving us.  My values in education and community as well as with combination of the fun sport of swimming will contribute to spirit events and attention to development and enjoyment in and out of the water.  Coming home from school I am putting aside my trumpet, hanging up my racing suit, setting aside my lesson plans and relocating my books on random animal & food facts to enjoy time in the sun and water with you.   I hope your vocal chords can handle the cheers and your face is ready for paint for a sign of things to come.
