American Legion World Series

2005 World Series
The American Legion Baseball Season

The American Legion has selected Fitzgerald Stadium in Rapid City, South Dakota as the 2005 site for The American Legion World Series baseball playoffs.

Eight teams lucky enough to make it to the World Series playoffs will be facing six days of elimination games. Only one team out of the eight starting teams will go home claiming the World Series Championship for 2005.

Six days of tournament play start on August 17, 2005. The series will culminate with a championship game being played on August 23, 2005. The series will showcase eight Regional Champions from across the United States from approximately 5,000 competing teams. Only one team will end the series and become The American Legion World Series Champion.

This years ticket sale's have already been posted and prices will range from a low price of $50.00 for general admission to $300.00 for Reserved Grandstand Box Seat's.
