On this page I'd like to let you know a few things about myself and my books,
"From The Mind's Eye" and "The World Inside".

The Author

I'm the web author and writer of most of what is contained on the Mind's Eye Expressions and Saltywog websites.  I live in beautiful Escondido, CA., with my wonderful wife, Helen.  In case you're wondering, Escondido is just north of San Diego.  Helen and I are the proud parents of five great kids, and the grandparents of 10  precious grandchildren.  I'm still a member of this nation's workforce, after honorably serving for twenty years in the U. S. Navy.  I am currently an active member of the San Diego Christian Writers Guild.

I began writing in the late sixties but did not really begin to flourish until the early nineties when God and life's little "situations" brought me closer to Him and brought a passion to my writing.  I write about my thoughts and feelings as I encounter life.  My poems center on God and life in general with the hope that my words will bring entertainment, encouragement and direction in life to those who read them.  I have poems published on a number of websites. Two of my poems have won awards. Guys Night Out won the San Diego Christian Writers Guild award for "the finest poem written in 2006" and Emotional Suicide, which was published in "Reflections Of Light", an anthology of the National Library Of Poetry, received the Editors Choice Award.  I have written and published two books, "From The Mind's Eye", which has sold internationally, and "The World Inside".

 From The Mind's Eye

"From The Mind's Eye" is one hundred fourteen pages in length, and contains 100 works. The pages are comb bound between a clear plastic cover and black back cover page with a black plastic spine. 

The World Inside

"The World Inside" is also one hundred fourteen pages in length and contains 100 works. The pages are comb bound with a frosted globe cover, navy back cover and navy plastic spine.
