Jesus on the cross

Father, You Did Not Die In Vain

Father, how you have suffered,
The unbearable pain,
The loneliness,
The continued abuse,
And the utter rejection.
What you did in love,
Is neglected still today,
By so many, for so little.
Reviled and persecuted,
Now, even as before,
You continue on, in love,
Through us, Your children,
So that as many as desire,
Will receive and be received,
In Your love and family.
Because of Your love,
We live in abundance,
Not of money or possessions,
But of peace, health, and freedom.
For that we can say,
In truth and with great love,
Father, You did not die in vain!
