A Christmas Thought

The caroler's are singing,
And jingle bell's are ringing,
It's holiday time once again.

Now we hear of a manger,
It's royal infant stranger,
And the blessings He brought for today.

Not the sleigh full of toys,
For all the good girls and boys,
But His Father's great love for all.

Of His compassion and caring,
And His desire for sharing,
With each of His kids on this earth.

Of things that bring us release,
Like salvation, true joy, and peace,
For everyone held captive by sin.

This season's message of life,
Transcends all our heartache and strife,
God's love is His gift for us all.
