What Is Love?

What is love without commitment?
A toothless Bengal tiger,
Trying to sustain it's own life.

What is love without compassion?
A cold, damp wall,
Which separates and divides.

What is love without forgiveness?
One standing in a tsunami wave,
Without hope of escape.

What is love without encouragement?
Living on a sun baked desert isle,
Where life is only brief.

What is love without action?
Just a short little word,
That means nothing.
