| If you have a love of history and would like to experience the "time travel" that is reenacting, perhaps you would like to join us. As the 3rd Arkansas Infantry was a military organization so are we. A member of the 3rd will expect to experience the life of the Confederate Soldier. Including camping with just the basic necessities and military duties that include-drill, guard and fatigue details. In our strive for complete authenticity, uniform standards and training levels are adhered to. The 3rd Arkansas is considered to be "hard core" and is respected in the reenacting community and wherever we appear. Our policy on new recruits allows a recruit to attend three reenactments on a trial basis. The 3rd Arkansas has equipment to outfit the new recruit for the trial period. The recruit if still desiring to join the 3rd Arkansas, will be voted on by the members at the third event. |
