Final Fantasy VII. Grand Theft Auto III. Ultima VII. Quake. These are all games that people use to judge other games, and rightfully so. These are all games that, while maybe not ground breaking, put their style or genre on The Map in terms of gamers who may never had looked at them otherwise. The problems with games like these are the inevitable "It's not as good as <x>" comparisons, mostly because said comparisons are generally based off of memories of those games when they were new. So how do these games ACTUALLY compare to modern games? That's one of the topics I plan to tackle on this site.... If I ever get around to it. (I'm seeing a trend here...) - Fri. May 9th, 2008
