PRICES Armatures
Armatures are built to customer specs by way of choosing options that we offer on our standard 'Armature Specification Form.' The usual choices are four: 1) Head turn, 2) Talking (Lower jaw movement), 3) Eye blink or Eye movement, 4) Arm and Hand movement (Done in the same manner as Muppits.) The price for a Standard Armaturs is dependent on it's complexity.
Sculpturing
Making of the body and head are done by hand. First color drawings are made of each character to be approved by the customer. Then using Model Magic the puppets come to life as their features are sculptured on to an armature. This is time consuming and takes talent. The final step here is painting the puppet, skin color, hair color, freckles, eye make-up, etc. The price for all this work is dependent on the detail desired.
Wardrobe
Clothes for each character are discribed by the customes. Drawings are then made to be approved. Every outfit is custome made to fit and be removable. An outfit might include 2 or 3 paces I.E. shirt, jacket, pants or dress and shoal. We use materales that work well with the size of these characters. For costume changes additional outfits can be attained. The price for each outfit is dependent on the number of pieces.
Finishing Touches
Once the puppet is dressed we give it a final workover by adding the "Trinkets" which may include such things as: a broach, glasses, monocle, cigarette, hat, tie, earings, hair ribben, eye lashes, what ever we can think of to add character. We then check all mechanical aspects one more time. Our new little life form goes into a box for shipping along with directions of opperation and maintaince.
The Total
$500.00 and up for an actor/actress that you can use in any of your filming adventures. No matter how long your movie or how many projects there are, your actor is paid for!
