1999 Dakota R/T
Time to dress up under the hood a little more with some powder coating and billet pulleys.
BEFORE SHOT

These are the parts that Im going to have redone. The tensioner I ended up just painting due to the internal parts, but the "dogbone" and power steering bracket got to go to the coaters.

Here are the parts that are now back from the coaters and the tensioner is now painted and it is all ready to go back on.

....and here is the set of billet pulleys that my wife suprised me with.

Well after putting it all back together, this is what it looks like...but a LOT more shine to it. It is so hard to get a good pic without all of the brightness washing out the shot.
...and then I found out that I had issues with the pulleys. They turned out to be underdriveing my alt so much that at idle I couldn't run my electric cooling fan without going below 8 volts. So I took off the pretty alt pulley and took the now silver painted stock one along with a belt that is 2 inches shorter and fixed the problem.

Dont worry, my coater will get it this winter along with my intake manifold, and I am planning on replacing the water pump with a high temp painted one.
