  • Stonehenge was not built by Druids, but is believed to have been built by three different tribes during different time periods.
  • Stonehenge was built sometime around 4000-2000 B.C.
  • Druids did perform rituals there.
  • It was believed that Stonehenge was built astronomical reasons.
  • During certain times of the year, the sun directly lines up with the gaps.
  • Druids were persecuted by loads of people.
  • Romans fought Druids at Stonehenge once.
  • Believed Romans were responsible for some damage at the current site today.
  • People now have to pay to see Stonehenge.
  • Stonehenge is now a standing monument. Respected and still studied, we will soon find out Stonehenge’s real purposes.
