General Meeting Agenda

I.               Call to Order: President Greg Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:15pm.

a.     Members Present: 10

b.     Guests Present: 1, Marie

II.             Reports:

a.     Secretary’s Report: Given by Rob Alexander

                                                     i.     Minutes of last meeting were read and no corrections made.

                                                      ii.     Website Update: Jim Collins suggested and it was agreed that the dollar amounts be removed from the public web pages.

                                                        iii.     Constitutional Amendments or By-Law Changes: By-law changes will be discussed today.

b.     Treasurer’s Report: given by Charles Eichelberger

III.           Old Business:

a.     Name: Bob Hoard. Business: By-Laws Changes

                                                     i.     were passed out and reviewed by members present.

                                                      ii.     Bob suggested that rather than cleaning up the membership roster by way of a change to the by-laws or constitution, that we simply charge $1.00 membership & members that do not show up and pay are subject to expulsion as stated in Article Four, Section B, paragraph 1 a.

                                                        iii.     In the mean time Jim Collins said he would mail out “We miss you” post cards if Alexander would print some up.

                                                       iv.     Alexander agreed to call those w/o e-mail to ask if they need a copy of the by-laws changes mailed to them.

b.     Name: Pres. Anderson Business: Yorktown 4th of July Parade

                                                     i.     We are registered and we’ll put out more info as we get it.

c.     Name: Pres. Anderson Business: Secretary position is still available.

IV.           New Business:

a.     Name: Tres. Eichenburger. Business: Chippokes Gas & Steam Engine Show

                                                     i.     Will be held June 7th & 8th. If you in the show you don’t have to pay entrence.

                                                      ii.     Alexander will put the registration form and info online.

b.     Name: Tom Norris Business: VCOT activities

                                                     i.     Watch www.vcot.org for info on a show with the Old Dominion Aircoolers and a cruise to the Sonic on Jefferson in the future.

V.             Open Forum:

a.     We talked about body shops and Sykes in particular.

b.     Name: Sheck Ng Subject: Fuel Pump diaphragm

                                                     i.     A leak in this diaphragm can put gas into the engine block and thin out the oil.
