PVWC Minutes March 6, 2005

The March meeting of The Peninsula Volkswagen Club was called to order on March 6^th at 7PM by President Bill Sorrell. Seventeen members and one guest were in attendance. Secretary Tom Norris read the February meeting minutes and they were approved as read. Treasurer Charles Eichelberger presented the Treasurer’s report which was also approved as read. Webmaster Rob Alexander reported that the website calendar has been updated. Rob also stated that the Heritage Square Saturday night cruise-in has been moved to Hampton Roads Harley Davidson beginning April 16^th.

Old Business: Matt Hagist mentioned that club t-shirts would cost approximately 10 to 11 dollars and denim shirts would be 19 dollars for short sleeve and twenty dollars for long. Embriodered name would cost an additional four dollars. Shirt and thread colors are unlimited. Matt will follow up with further info. Fort Boykin get together has been set tentatively for Saturday April 16^th. Jeff and Robin Pickett will check out park availability.

New Business: Tom Norris suggested a group picnic for VCOT, ODAC, and us sometime this summer, possibly at Newport News City Park. Bill Sorrell will follow up.

Open Forum: Bill Sorrell shared his ’paint’ episode, and Shek entertained us with one of his technical topics.

50/50 netted $10 to the club and $10 to the winner, Dean Eichelberger.

Meeting was adjourned at 750PM.
