NORTHWEST RIVER PARK
CHESAPEAKE
This is one of the favorite rides of the group.
It's nice and flat, and the roads are lightly traveled (there aren't a lot of cars that we'll have to compete with). We'll ride through the rural areas of Chesapeake, over the Pungo Ferry Bridge (what a view from the top) and even out towards the Intracoastal Waterway.
We meet at the Park and the ride starts from there.
Directions: I-64 to Route 168 (Great Bridge Bypass). Follow it SOUTH to the toll both ($2.00). Take a LEFT at the next light and follow the signs to the park.
